Chorfs! Here in the Midwest of the USA, deerskin work gloves are very popular and have that golden yellow color. Though, now that you say dish gloves I can't unsee it. Since the original metal Chaos Dwarf models are so crazy expensive, I've pretty much gone the 3D route. Good luck.

Chorfs, let's goooo! The missing resin definetely was Hashut's work at play. Amazing paint job as always, love the free hand ontop the glazing on the rocket. And the yellow gloves are a great decision, really makes the miniature stand out among his dull-colour-gloved brethren!

Best mini painting channel around hands down, keep it up! In terms of red I generally use flesh tearers over a light cream prime then go in with mephiston red over 80% of it and then highlight with evil sunz, wild rider then wild rider mixed with fire dragon bright, its super saturated.

Honestly, I think waiting and slowly building up the army is way more entertaining and totally worth it. Personally, the speed paint thing (bang out an army in a day or two) is not that appealing to me. I'm way more invested when you take your time, and we build up to that glorious day when you get your army tip top and looking pro.

re: red paint. Have you tried Monument Hobbies 'Bold Pyrrole Red'? I've been using it as a bright saturated red replacement one step brighter than Evil Sunz, might be useful as an out-of-the-bottle highlight for your Khorne+Sunz mix?

Amazing work, yet again Deetz. I always find there's something a wee bit paradoxical about chorfs - individually they look goofy as hell, but en mass they start to look like a dangerous stubborn tide of axes and curls. Do you think Hashut commands an honoured place for hairdressers in chorf society? Bearers of the sacred curlers perhaps? There's no way those curls are natural. 😂
