As a very young school boy way back in 1937/38, I sat at the very rear of the Chapel and actually watched David Paynter painting the big murals that are history today. Rev. Stopford was the Principal then and I was in the upper kindergarten. My friends and I used to love the peace and quiet of the Chapel area. Trevor LaBrooy.

Proud to be a Trinitian - who once sang as a choirboy in the choir loft under David Paynter's "the cruxifiction".

May Trinity College and all other schools dedicated to God (specially of the Church of Ceylon) continue to be beacons of light in darkness and mould future generations to come. May they be able to steadfastly and boldly confess the Name of Christ and profess His calling in thought, word and deed!

What wonderful production of historical significance, encompassing the vision and the skill and quality of the architects, builders and workers whos skill and dedication made this all possible It would be wonderful if the names of the workers of this building could be researched, then inscribed on a plaque as a symbol of recognition for their tireless and dedicated work. A great monument to Sinhalese architecture of yesteryear that has lent it's grandeur to a place of worship in the Christian tradition.

Well done . you have done more than what some who comment have achieved. The chapel is a great piece of architecture. I love the building. Ashley de Vos.

Ashley de Vos Thank you for your Comment sir! But I believe The Chapel of Trinity College Kandy deserves a better video than this. I'm hoping put up a complete documentary about the chapel in time to come as I'm still lacking some information about many aspects of the Chapel.
