A chaplain saved my life with the crucifix by warding off a runner that grabbed me. It's definitely possible, and the devs have said that it not working is a glitch.

Honestly, priest looks extremely fun to play, his badge is not very difficult but it is quite slow and grindy especially thanks to the runner save part, the rest is pretty simple

Exactly, the Runner's health is 30, while stake deals 25 damage, so it takes two hits to kill a runner which is a problem if you try to stop them and you are alone.

Important thing to note about the blessing is that as of writing this comment it can’t cure infection if it’s over the 70 percent threshold (aka when you turn) it can only cure infection if your not about to turn into a zombie [also fun fact sappers will now turn into zappers instead of runners when turning… so that’s pretty cool]

Now I’ve come back for priest, I have saved 150 teammates from being grabbed, I have killed 75 runners pinning your teammates, I have obtained the “Vos Enterrement” badge, and have healed 50 teammates, but haven’t got the priest,why is that?
