We all know about Sitting Bull and his part in American Western history in the latter half of the 1800s. Now hear the story of The Charger, a Yanktonai Dakota who wielded more influence and power than Sitting Bull with many of the tribes on the Upper Great Plains in the first half of the 19th century. He was a brave, a warrior, a commisioned captain in the War of 1812, and later a strong supporter of the United States on the western frontier in his time.
