I used to be a taxi driver and once had Jon in the car after him being at a party with a band called the twang. It was a short journey and I had the rolling stones playing. He was singing along. I got a photo with him and his sunglasses. Still have them. An absolute gentleman of a man RIP JON

Amazingly underrated brilliant band! I caught the last 3 gigs of their UK tour last year and they were all fantastic. Then I met them by chance in Belfast airport and they were the coolest guys, gave autographs and talked nicely, very down to Earth. Absolutely love The Charlatans!
