Got mine on Amazon couple of weeks ago, I would highly suggest this setup for a 1/8th scale. Has super slow crawl speed and insane punch!

@@HOBBYWINGOfficial With this motor and ESC setup. Does or is there and option to have thermal cutoff for the motor...the new motor offered with it? ESC has thermal cutoff setting in the ESC. Will this setup bring in a new ESC option to thermal shutoff the motor if it gets too hot?

I put a Max 6 in my Traxxas Sledge do you have a suggestion on what motor to run with that in that truck ? I think 78mm is about as big as you can fit in there ?

Hello 🖐 I recently bought a max8 g2 4278 2250kv combo, and in my combo there are no additional cables to solder on another motor, and the color of the thermal sheaths at the ends of the wires already soldered on the motor they are blue young orange not black like yours, Do you have any idea why it's like this in my house? Or if it's normal? 🤔 Thank you in anticipation! 🖐

Put the max 8 G2 2250kv combo in my new kraton exb and it is absolutely awesome! I'm very happy with the setup, on 6s 120c it rips! I also have a Hobbywing quicrun setup in my 1/18th scale basher, havent hit top speed but on 3s 120c hit 64mph! Such great set ups, Hobbywing is the best!

@Traxxas-and-Dji-mavic2000 nope just plug and play! You can get the little led programmer board for pretty cheap and then you adjust the settings like brake, etc..

Hi, I'm new to using ESC, can you help? My setup is fbl brain 2(heli gyro) and hobbywing 60a regulator. In step 2 "ESC/Radio throttle Calibration" says "ensure the corresponding throttle amounts to the maximum throttle endpoint and the minimum throttle endpoint on your transmitter are respectively 100% and 0%". In the process of setting up the gyroscope, it was necessary to increase the costs of all channels in the equipment in order to have 0% and 100% in the gyroscope menu, as a result, the costs of my radio are -127 and +127. How do I calibrate the end points of the throttle, through the gyroscope (brain 2), as far as I understand, it sends the throttle channel signal to esc. Or should I take a separate receiver, create a new model in the transmitter where the costs will be -100 +100?
