This video is possibly going to be my favorite. I remember when Michael showed us the chapel in one of his videos and I felt so sad that it was so dusty and full of cobwebs It just felt so lonely and lost. So many souls have prayed, shared happiness and sadness within its walls. The stain glass windows are stunning. and the chapel is so beautiful. You have a large estate to maintain and still renovations to complete, so I understand that not everything can be maintained at once, but I want to thank you and your family plus Mo for taking time to give this lovely little building some love and attention. Bravo!!!

USA Catholic. Beautiful video, especially with Ave Maria at the end. Yours and your Mom's tender care at the altar and with the candles showed such respect. I would like to see/hear Michael's reaction to the clean-up especially since he complained about all the dust and spider webs in one of his past videos. Get someone to fix the front door so no more creepy crawlers get inside. Ask Billie to fix that chandelier too.

There are many things I like about this video;. The intro, the chapel all dusted and clean, the candles all lit making everything glow, watching the chickens come running for supper, the rain, and the love you show for all the animals, especially Bertie, and finally, seeing a family working and laughing together. Brought tears to my eyes! Such a beautiful chapel and it glowed by the time you finished. I much prefer your channel of all the Petherick channels as it is very nice to see the chateau from the women's point of view and the hard work "doing it ourselves" that mostly the men got credit for. Your editing, content, camera work & quality are all top notch . In my opinion this is the real "doing it ourselves" . Thank you for this loveliest of videos.

@@rgrndu This chapel was built specifically for Catholic worship. That does not preclude it from being used by those of different faiths, but there are characteristics of this chapel that do make it Catholic: the alter, the statue of Mary, the benches with kneeler boards attached, the dish on wall next to the door for holy water, - just to make a few. Any place that makes you feel closer to God is a good place to worship regardless of faith.

All Christians are welcomed into the Catholic Church. There’s only a few things a non Catholic can not participate in... but praying and reading or listening to Gods word I believe is one of the most important in every Christian faith. Let’s be humble and pray with out ceasing. Peace be with you all ❤️

Sadie you are the most glamorous chapel cleaner I have ever seen. You, Mo and Sherrie certainly gave the chapel a thorough cleaning. Bertie is growing more beautiful every time we see him, I hope his little leg is better soon. The stained glass in the chapel is absolutely amazing and in such great condition. The candle light was an amazing end to the big day in the chapel. The flower pots at Michael's cottage are looking lovely and colourful. What an amazing place you live in.

What a lovely7 chapel! Just a thought about the pews...if you can get Shaun to halve them, cut match shapes and put the cut ends against the walls either side. You wouldn’t lose more than 6 seats overall and it would give you a super central aisle walkway.

This was a lovely vlog, evocative of the wind and the weather, lovely candlelight at the end! Suggestion, If you put an equal amount of the pews against either wall, you could have a central aisle. If there was room, then the smallest pew could be at the front left or right facing or within the altar rails at the side for clergy. Then you could see the altar unimpeded from the door! I loved this vlog because of the cleaning and the music and your parents, Mo, and your dear dogs! Very atmospheric! Please sing, it would be lovely to hear you sing in the chapel, Amazing Grace or As tears go by!!!

This video is truly blessed. The chapel has benefited so much from all the loving Ministrations of you, Mo, and Mum. You’ve all done a magnificent job. As a Catholic, I can tell you that the step in front of the altar rail is ordinarily used as a place to kneel to receive holy communion, and is commonly called the communion rail. What your Mum called a step at the back of most of the pews is actually called a kneeler as it enables the person in the pew behind to kneel to pray. The pews with out kneeler are usually the last pew in the row as the kneeler is unnecessary as there is no pew to the rear of it. The pews without kneelers also are a good choice to place against a wall as there is no kneeler to take up space unnecessarily. Ideally there would be an open walkway at either end of the pews. Overall fantastic tour of the newly cleaned chapel, it’s just so very beautiful! Johanna Maine USA

It’s so beautiful and the walls are relatively simple. Can you all repair the plaster and repaint or is this one of those jobs requiring a specialist by the state? The doors are also beautiful. I’m glad the chapel got some love! I’d have been like your mother but wouldn’t have come back inside until every spider web was gone. 😆 Spiders are my nightmare!

Such a lovely video. As a child in America our mothers belonged to the "Alter and Rosary Society" . These Catholic women took responsibility for cleaning and dressing the churches. Each week a few would go and clean the whole church and dress it in flowers and other special ornaments such as for wedding or funeral. and baptisms
