@@1sweck not exactly, as I mentioned before prices vary by location greatly. One shop might charge $160 for a spscific repair while another shop in about 20-30min distance might charge $120 for the repair.

And for that price it’s EXTREMELY flimsy. I had take off the case to wipe it down, and accidentally dropped it and now it’s toast. I’m so pissed. I’m not dropping another 250+ plus. But I have to so I can be notified of texts at work while I’m on the phone with customers 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

​@@EkkoTheGekkoshut up, just shut up, this product is the worst thing Apple have done, the watch can die from a day to another like nothing, bug like green or red snake of death are frustrating, they said Apple Watch was water resistant but if the Watch drop in water there Is a big chance that water goes inside the Watch and corroding components than you'll call Apple's assistance and they will say "liquid damage is not included in warranty, It will cost 300$" a new one is 400$ and if the problem is a software's problem they will say "hardware problem, 300$" hope this product will fail

quick disclaimer! if you remove the original glue and put your own the watch will no longer be waterproof/water resistant and will be considered tampering under any warranty, so please be advised when doing repairs!

That not correct. Did you not see him replace the glue? If the glue is replaced correctly, your watch will still be water resistant. Also, it’s already an out of warranty repair if screen is cracked. Furthermore, Apple will likely determine this unrepairable and insist on buying a brand new watch.

@@sj-red my mistake, what I meant to say is less water resistant/proof due to the glues being different, also I was going to a generalist approach with most water resistant/proof technology having the same rule but yes correct, it is still water resistant, it's just mot guaranteed water resistance and any mistakes in gluing or any faulty or crappy glue products will render the protection useless

Is it just me or having all toy story cast on a watch seems very nice. Throws back to the days with my Siemens. There were digital assistants, with silly animations and by deleting them you could free up like 600k or whole meg from 10 available. One of them were built in, so it stayed.

We charge around 130-150ish to change the screens on Apple Watches depending on what series, size of the screen and if its Cellular or just GPS plus we rarely do them cause they won't be water resistant anymore after the repair which we inform the customer beforehand.
