Owen Chase science channel Cool? I’m not exactly sure what your point is. Fluff has stated multiple times that he’s not a godly guitarist and certainly doesn’t act like he thinks he is. I don’t see why you feel the need to say you are better than him, unless of course, you’re compensating for your insecurities. Then in that case, carry on!

No reason to. The cheap ones are dog shit. Even the Specials suck. I barely use mine compared to some people and thought it was a bunch of bs but an original or a gotoh is the only way to go. A $150 ESP guitar with a setup, an OFR, and a used set of ebay emgs sounds incredible

Trust me, the "cheapest" Floyd Rose will be aweful. Better off with a standard term and locking tuners if you can't afford a proper FR (or at least a decent licensed one). Though you can get a few decent and affordable drop in Ibanez terms from Ibanezrules

3:55 what i kinda like about cheap gear is that sound is the sound of the second rhytmic guitar. Like you would have a solo guitar, then a rhytmic playing on EMG or DiMArzios, then a "lo-fi"sound with gates or distorsion, or just cheap ceramic pickups

Very similar A-B...both pickups tone kinda bad tho IMO...possibly micing or EQ could mitigate this. If you just want to chug plug into a DAW via USB and use Neural DSP, or whatever, you could use pretty much anything - and he proves that. If you're after a musical interaction with your guitar and real amplifier, where the gear is what also inspires your music, then, if you're happy with your guitar's set-up, the pickups are the first place to look to dramatically re-shape your tone. When you're using the pickup dynamically, rolling back the volume for gain control, every little thing in your chain; string gauge, tone cap., leads, nut material all add up together to make a difference. The big players in *that* scenario are scale length, body material, bridge type and most importantly pickups. Basically, it boils down to your setup. This cheap pickup in a decent tube amp, may sound very lacking from a high quality upgrade.

No. The difference, if there really is one, is because of other things: the equipment may have warmed up, the humidity had changed, or he made tighter or looser wire connections. And that's assuming your mind isn't playing tricks on you, because maybe you're just so convinced the same model pickups can sound different, and you can hear that difference. My point is, for all practical purposes, they are the same, and it's totally illogical, maybe even bragging, for you to think they are the same model, and still prefer one over the other. I'm not saying you can't, or it's necessarily not true, but stick to either saying they are the same model, or you prefer one. That's all. Don't pretend to be so special.

Just take the happiness and go on about your day. Also my personal favorite is when two different people have told me that saying God bless you is offensive to some people, I don't care if it offends people I will still say God bless you if you're offended by me spreading positivity and saying God Bless you that's your problem LOL!
@maarmaat

@@Lazy_eye_blobFish I reckon that the biggest problem that those people have is that they never felt a real sorrow of being left alone, unwanted etc. To be honest with you, you just made my day. Listen, I won't open up myself here with how bad my life wouldn't be, how sad I am, that's not the place or time for this. But remember one thing dude. I bet my ass that there are tons of people who scrolled through comments and are just too shy to thank you for even such a small thing like wishing a good day. However, this one little piece of positivity may rescue someone. Believe me or not, there are people who are on a streak of sorrow for some reason, they suffer for depresion and the only thing that they wish for more than little kid for santa to come, is that little spark of positivity. You should keep on doing what you do, regardless of how much those ignorants wouldn't tell you to shut up. Little comment like this can really help. Unfortunately, real heroes won't ever wear a cape, or even be thanked properly. But remember, there are people who could thank you, but are too shy. Keep on being positive, because you are the hero that we need. And, God bless you, dude.

You could compare a expensive guitar with the cheapest pickups from amazon or wish etc. and cheapest guitar ( amazon, wish, etc. ) with expensive pickup

The pickups sounded the same to me. Did you test both with the multimeter? It would interesting to compare their values. I had a set of the cheapest pickups I could find on Amazon in an Epiphone LP. They sounded great.

I was gonna add that too, if unsure which is which test em with a multimeter. Even if they were the "same" I doubt a company thats charging that much is spending too much time qc'ing them to make sure they're an exact frequency match.

Just a quick note. I am a fan of cheap parts and some of my favorites come from guitar fetish. I have them in a few of my setups, sometimes just the bridge or neck. The description of each pickup's tone is pretty spot on and they are cheaper that Seymour Duncan's

It isn't the cheapest, but for years I've been buying GFS pickups and they are pretty good for the price. A true upgrade from any low end chinese pickup of most low-mid range guitars.

Man I was lol all the way through. I think it was the same pickup. Just wondering how these stack against cheap Jackson or BC Rich pickups. I just got a $16 set of the invader type pickups. I am replacing a stock Ibanez pickup and a stock BC Rich pickup in a silver NJ Mockingbird from the 80s. It will look good. Just hope it plays well. Hit your channel twice in one day so I subbed. The other video was the White Zombie sound video. Great stuff man. I got a little beard action going myself.

Seems like Gibson pickups started sounding non vintage after 2019 on their guitars, can you back me up on that?, also wouldn`t it be cool to see a sound wave of pickups like guitar speakers to compare them"?

Idk but i feel they didn't make a noticeable change. Im pretty sure in a live concert the people wont realize, the pickup sound good compared to the stock's in an almost every cheap guitar. So the change doesn't worth it in your case (maybe a little). Good Video.
