Since it's only a 500 gig drive I don't understand why they didn't use a 2.5 drive instead of the big bulky 3.5 drive .. that's what I would have done.

I bought a game council 3 TB from AliExpress. Everything works fine except for the PlayStation one games. I can see them, but they won’t play. I went into the folder versus his files and account Chd files . Is there a walk-through so I can figure out how to play those games on the console?

thanks for review, i am very into handhelds, making Batocera Pcs, from Junk, or Dijishoo setups from the cheapest android device that has a decent screen. What will ALWAYS be important though in this sort of "endeavor" is the "roms", they have now become their own sort of currency. As soon, rest assured , now that "powers" get that folks enjoy these again, the "ease of getting to these roms, will soon be shut down. And of course i likely have all of this, in different places, drives etc, and i "crave" good ""scrapes" for my builds, and you can NEVER have too many backups , so ill boot it And also just "pick it apart" and i just grabbed one for 38 $ total, so f yea, thanks man for the heads up

read that it can be used on laptop with up to date windows, so i bought one and plugged it but the system crashed. installed the start up, will try again but bit disappointed as well that the description said controller supplied then nothing sent!

I had a kin Hank games box, thousands of games it was great unbelievable box then one day it went blank then erased all games off the sad card automatically within 2mins…. I couldn’t believe it, it took 2 months to come from China, got it for Christmas 2022 but it only lasted 8months had to chuck the box away as it encrypted itself, £80 box binned….. I think all these game boxes are the same…..

@Chase, Bro great video, I received the drive, but is not visible by windows and apparently something needs to be done in Disk Manager in order to have it visible, could you please help with that? I dont want to erase all .... at the moment it shows as "not initialized" - unallocated drive

by the way - Disk Manager is not solving the issue to initialize the disk, also "I/O error" is coming and I am curious to know what you have done @Chase Brogan to fix the issue and make the drive work. Thanks for your response.

It really means alot! 👍👊 That's why your channel is the only 1 I watch for this type of content. I've been wanting to get a retro gaming system for couple years now but I'm HORRIBLE when it comes to computers you've got more knowledge about them in your pinky fingernail than my brain 🙂 Plus there's so many to choose from!! But from watching your videos I think I'm gonna try to different ones. 1st the "M15" game stick you just reviewed I mean for $22 you can't beat it! I mainly want a plug & play into my t.v. or monitor to play NES/SNES/N64/GENESIS/sum old Arcade games/etc. everything else with other systems is bonus. I believe it will work for that & if not I'm only out a few bucks. The 2nd option for me is the "X PRO 2" it looked really nice on the video review you did a few weeks back, I tried to win one on the live stream but wasn't lucky🙂 it's more $ of course either $185 or $285 for the 512GB but I realize it's a higher quality system & with the 512 you get a lot of Dreamcast & Saturn games too. I'll probably try the "M15 game stick" 1st since it can plug into t.v. @@gasiacaligasiacali7384 I can tell you the X5 pro came with a ton of games I like it a lot it goes up to PlayStation 2 the only thing I don't like and I haven't played it a lot is GameCube games and Wii games you have to configure the controller every time you play one of the games other than that everything seems to work fine

Does anyone know where to get a hardware drive that is heavy on ps3 games ? I was trying to find Asura's Wrath, Puppeteer, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, L.A. Noire , all the main Ratchet and Clank games and Sly Cooper thieves in time . Oh and if there is Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (ps4 version) i know that there isn't but if 😂

I'm confused, the title says over 38k games but the games list show a total of just over 4 thousand games... Not a bad price but that size alone is too much for me. I would quickly move all of those games into an SSD... A 500gb SSD is fairly cheap these days and you would definitely get faster loading speeds with those cd games.

Eek! 38000 roms divided by 2=19000 minus maybe 1000 roms that probs wont load. I'm sure nothing is configured either. Just learn how to make one, kiddos. Cheap way to get into the scene though.
