I know it's 2 years since this video has been released and maybe a little outdated, but I'm wondering if anyone noticed that the wire transfer fees in INR is the exact amount in CAD that is required for Proof of funds 😁. Awesome videos guys. Small question, how does wire transfer help in credit rate boosting as it is not a credit product and a savings product.

My bad. This is the rule in Hong Kong where I have lived before. Canada works much like the rest of the world and you won't get a push to your credit score if you dont use a credit card / or other form of credit line. The credit score is a flat 618 for new immigrants.

FYI.. when coming for the first time, declaring cash beyond 10K is not a concern at all.. one is allowed to bring as much as long as they declare.. you keep the cash in hand luggage and deposit is bank account as soon as you land.. one can open CIBC account at airport too!!

I would suggest you the same thing as we did in this video. But due to Pandemic you might not be able to get your bank account done so I would suggest you to carry your credit cards/ forex cards so you can easily order everything during your quarantine

Which bank in India did you use for this wire transfer? I am a USA green card holder. Can I also transfer money from India to the USA, same as you did? As far as I remember, my bank in India asked me to fill up 15ca or 15cb form, which is a worse thing to get.. too much hassles to get 15CA form and 15 CB form. Any advice ??
