The Cheapest Way to get 'LEGO' Clones?? Our First Time Decaling LEGO!!!

Tip for any younger aspiring decal-er's out there. Plain old hairspray can be used instead of the toxic sealant. Also the first time you decal a helmet be extra careful. Something else that helps when decalling a helmet is to get an official lego clone helmet and to compare the helmet that you are decalling to get the placement and everything correctly. I hope i could have helped someone.

I dont really think it will scratch up if your careful with it, but be careful with the legs the hips need to be carved very carefully to stop tearing the decal.

I love the muunilist design, I agree this is a much cheaper way to get your favourite clones ina variety of styles, however it does take time and effort. I would recommend this to everyone even if it seems a little expensive at first

In my experience , I have found decalling quite difficult and they're easy to mess up. I love the way they look however and some people pre-decal them anyway 👍

I started using a masking tape method with AV decals so you don’t have to carve out hips or struggle with assembling your figure. Put small pieces of masking tape on the bottom of the hips, the hole the leges use to connect to the hips, cover the rod on the hips, cover the part on the arms that connect to the body, and put a thin line on the outside of the connection area on the body for the arms. Now of course you won’t be able to move the legs but I definetly recommend putting tape on the connection points on the arms, especially if you’re not using very detailed decals.

hey i don’t know if you guys know this or not but don’t decal clones in a confined area, decaying contains a lot of harmful chemicals so its best to do it outside

Like I mean it’s the best way to get a p2 Rex or a clone design LEGO doesn’t care about such as the 442nd siege battalion. It’s easy and hard at the same time but depends on your patience and even faith 🤣

I think its only the legs that are blank (white) we got a Zane ninjago body with a black background, because it was cheaper than the white bodies.
