Great analysis. I'm a 59 year old enthusiast. Because of an older brother I've been studying racing for 54 years. I'm not a good punter and am more into history and the stud book. As such I have recently been appointed as the bloodstock agent to the relaunch of a Grade 1 winning family business. We are just putting the final details into place and I hope I can be more specific before Chepstow. For now I can tell you that in the summer we have added 5 new purchases to our existing team of 3 homebreds. I went to watch the gallops yesterday and watched two unraced types do a nice piece of work. I am known to Andrew, as is the young man who is relaunching the family business. Watch this space 🙂

Very informative.... nicely done..also like the betting chat,it's important sometimes to say these things and it's so true the horses should always be fun..you don't have to put on tons of money(although if you want to that's your choice) to have fun..my dad always used to say treat a bet as money gone(hopefully it isn't) but that way you tend to keep things real...keep it fun..I bet small,I've bet big ..but for me the enjoyment is with the smaller bets...thanks Dave..( never chase losses) rabbit hole that one...not nice...

Cheers Dave! Just started betting, so this will be the first jumps season that I'm following closely. Can you do a video how you decide what horses to put in your tracker and the sorts of things you note down when they've raced?
