So, quick story, when this album dropped I had just installed my first DIY stereo system in my truck (1995 nissan single cab). Alpine Deck, Legacy mids/highs and Orion subs all around and an alpine amp to match the deck. I was so proud of myself...then the distortion portion of this track hit. I nearly got into a wreck pulling to the side of the road in full PANIC mode that my system was frying!!! LOLOLOL

That’s the best thing about music you hear it but you remember where you WERE when you first heard it or it mean something to you. One sense that absolutely fires off a million neurons and you’re immediately taken back to a time, place, person, another period in life… and the best thing about a hard media is you remember who gave it to you or where you bought it.

Probably the least known and under apreciated Chemical album ever. It might not be their own songs but the mix they make is downright epic!!!!

Dear friend of mine turned me on to the Chemical Brothers in the early 90s... at our local rock climbing gym. He was listening to them while he bouldered. After one listen I was immediately intrigued. Once I had this album in my hands I was hooked. Been listening ever since. 😜 Still one of my favorite albums for bouldering... perfect for honing that focus to razor sharpness and creating that smooth flow through the moves.

This album will always be driving east to home on the Beartooth Highway before my senior year in college, August 2002. Just before I cashed in childhood for an opportunity to be an adult. However this remains the soundtrack of the madness that is the adult world. Now 18 years later, I still rip that same road since I've moved West. Fuck growing up.

Yeah yeah this is the FIRST remix of this song I'd heard years ago. It's a classic. It goes somewhere else but I still like it because it exposed people who didn't know about Willie Hutch. Kids sometimes need remixes like this to learn about the classics. And trust, this IS a classic both in original form AND in this version.
