@@luniqant9296 it COULD still happen. Part of why it could is that most 1st world countries are super stingy and secretive about their nuclear projects. So a 3rd world country that goes at it on their own could easily fall into the same pitfalls if no other countries are willing to cooperate and guide them. But the current model is that 3rd world countries are just Banned from these industries, because them using coal is better than helping them. Yadda yadda have a good day

As for radiation question. In single dose anything over 2rads is pretty much guaranteed death sentence within a year. Anything over 4rads guarantees death within 60days. If you get to 8-10 you'll die anytime between immediately to one week.
