and 10 years later i'm still coming back to this. "holy crap!" indeed. i love how he was being so cool w letterman's enthusiasm and then at the very end allows a tiny smile. it was such a great thing when letterman was blown away by bands. remember his reaction to future islands' sam herring?!

I happened to be flipping channels and here they are on Letterman; 1st time seeing them... - could immediately tell they will be great; the next Coldplay! I think they're the greatest - SO WHY AREN'T THE CHEVIN BIGGER? Only 1 album...can't wait for MORE from them. the Kooks have a couple good songs too - these CHEVIN guys - every song is great!
