Rabbits aren't rodents though, rabbits are lagomorphs :) But they probably have similar wiring when it comes on chewing and teeth growth

Oh, I love this rabbit! I had a rabbit named "Goliath" a couple of years ago. And I loved him. But I can't stand loving Billy too. Such a cute rabbit! Well done with the cuts an the music of all the Billy-Videos.

Wow-looks like he's not very fussy-seems like he likes to chew on a lot of things. I laughed hardest during the sneakers, i-pod charger-I-pod case, and the phone book-especially the phone book. I also laughed at all those teeth marks on that cardboard box!

Thats too funny Karen. I have a bunch of children's book, being a preschool teacher, on a shelf in my bedroom. At first I had some on the bottom shelf but I kept comming home and finding missing. A few weeks later I found a pile of books under my bed. Too Funny! It was so cute reading the titles of the books my little man Dibbles pulled under the bed.

Love Billy!! My QQ had her construction work on the TeePee I gave her. She chewed and chewed and chewed on the inner paper wall of her Indian TeePee. I think that might be the way she grind her teeth....When she grew up she was less energetic (less binky). She has some small problems, such as teeth and I took her to fix every couple of months when her appetite decreased~

Bunnies must chew to wear down their incisors which grow continuously. If the incisors grow too long, the bunny will not be able to eat and then starves.

Everyone who goes into a petshop or to a breeder to buy an 'easy starter pet' for their kid should be made to sit and watch this. Ten times. Bet a few more parents wuld turn to the kids and day ''NO!!!'', and in turn, a few less rabbits should arrive at already overloaded sanctuary gates because they were ''Too much trouble!''. have you moved them out of the way or made it so your rabbit cant get to them. I thought I had covered my cable cord well enough, found out Dibbles had been nibbling at it for probably about a week. He had to go in to the vet cause he had fine metal wires in his mouth that I couldnt get out cause it made me so nervious. Man did I learn my lesson really quick. The thing is it could have been much worse!!! hope your bun didnt have a similar experience.

Poor you! You could spray a bitter spray on the spots he chews. Something like Phooey might work. Also you could dab a bit of perfume on the spots to deter him (bunnies hate the smell of perfume, but to make it so he can smell it but you can't you could just dab it on, not spray it on. Look on Binkybunny for more bunny proofing tips. Luckily my bunnies don't chew like billy!

No clue...that's something you'd probably have to ask a vet. We try to keep Billy away from chewing the walls as much as possible, but as you can see he still gets a nibble in every now and then :-/

I can't represent the caregiver on this one, so I'm posting from my own account. Whenever I'm there with the bunnies I watch Billy like a hawk to make sure he doesn't rip up the carpet. The "accidents" you see in the video happened when I wasn't there, so I can't really explain them. I can assure you though, that the caregiver does his best to keep Billy from ripping up the fibers because we know it's bad for rabbits. And thankfully, Billy has a tendency to spit the carpet fibers out.

Oh god. The only chewing problems I have is on books, which is easy to stop, but the worst is the carpet! My Sam actually ripped up a 2 inch section of carpet in the closet. Oh what will I do?
