I think a lot of it has to do with coaching. The good coaches don't let one heartbreaking loss get to them. For example, my Broncos didn't fall apart after that blocked kick in KC. And that's the advantage of having a Super Bowl winning coach who understands that heartbreaking losses happen and the way to respond is not by curling up in a blanket and crying in the corner because the big bad Chiefs stole our hearts. He motivates them to be angry and to take it out on the next few opponents. Whereas the Bears just fell apart because Matt Eberflus is not a good head coach. It was the Hail Mary, but it was specifically the aftermath of it. That play and the plays leading up to it were %100 on the coaches and play calling, the horrible choice to let the Commies have a free 15 yards on the play before to put them in range and then to not rush Daniels on the play itself. Yet the coaches publicly blamed the players for it. THIS is what broke the team, the roster quit in the coaching staff and they've never checked back in. They did put up some fight in the first round of divisional games, perhaps the rivalry spurred them into giving effort. But after that it was back to being checked out.

To be honest watching Caleb play he’s a great quarterback. Accurate. Pretty clutch, quick and makes good reads for the most part. He plays about as good as you’d want a rookie to play. All the downfall has been the coaching. Every mistake has been from coaching. And what is the guy supposed to do when the oline is giving up 67 sacks? I think he’s a franchise quarterback. For the right franchise. If they finally get a good oline they can run the ball. And protect him. The offense will be on the field more which will allow the defense to play better. It will all click. He will be one of those guys where either they clean it up and he succeeds. Or he will get picked up by a team like the niners down the road and thrive.

@DCBIGOSO you do have a little point. I'm a Commanders fan. I don't get into the competition hype of Jayden vs. Drake, Caleb, Nix, etc. I look at long-term success. I bring that up to say why I could somewhat agree with your original statement. Especially with the media competition last year CJ vs. Bryce. The hype of Caleb vs. Jayden by the media and especially the fans is so extreme. Bears played badly the entire game. But Cakeb picked up his game in the 4th to take the lead. They had it in the bag. Then Jayden throws the hailmary. Bears were already celebrating. Fans of Caleb were thinking he beat Jayden. For all that to end on a hailmary had to hurt. They have deeper issues. Games after and before that. Some of his teammates gave up on plays. Like Moore. I remember two plays he stopped running his route because he thought the ball wasn't coming to him. They have issues. I hope we beat Falcons. But if we lose. Atlanta fans will say. Penixbis is better than Jayden, and if he started the season. He would have been ROTY. Just like Patriots fans are saying Drake would be rookie of the year if he had a better supporting cast. Not realizing Jayden only has Terry. And he gets doubled. Jayden has spread the ball to everyone. He knows he doesn't have that many options. That is what makes him good. Bearsbhaveba better running back and 3 good wrs. They are blaming Caleb's lack of production because of the line and coaches. Fans find every and any excuse. Beginning of the season. Caleb got sacked and threw certain incompletions because he wanted a big throw. When he had a player wide open for 5-yards. That made it 2nd and 10 or longer. Instead of a 2nd and 5. That was Caleb's fault.

@gl3five He's terrible. I've watched every game, and he has a bad attitude and makes retard mistakes almost every drive.
