The point about Justin Watson catches is soooo spot on. I was saying that to people in the offseason bitching about why he was as sure as anyone to make the 53 men roster. In the Mahomes' highlights from 2022 and 2023 he makes almost literally a dozen appearances.

Humphries didnt work. They were eyeing a guy coming off an ACL, didn’t play for a year. They refused to bring Donovan Smith back despite winning a Super Bowl last year with him. My only real concern is the blocking. I feel confident elsewhere. If we have zero protection, nothing else matters. From the start of the year , this has been handled so ridiculously. If you don’t trust Veach at this point then you never will 😂 1) Giving young tackles a shot is not handling it poorly. If those guys figured it out, then you have a potential LT on a rookie deal! We have the best o line coach in the business, we have all pro/pro bowl caliber players on the line, we have the best offensive play caller in the business in Andy Reid. When you have THAT much support then you need to try the young guys first 2) Veach has D Smiths number, there is a reason why he’s not a chief. It must be a good reason because Veach really wants to win if you haven’t noticed the last 7 years. 3) Humphries was a great addition but we rushed him out there and you can’t blame management for injuries. We’ll be fine when it matters most 💯

I think we see vengeful Mahomes. Feels like the most important game of the regular season so far. If he's gonna play, he is GOING to win. Step 1 of 2 to secure the 1-seed. For these reasons, I've decided today I'm going this game and I can't wait. Thought I wouldn't have a chance this season. Let's go.
