My cat Mittens was on my shoulder all day every day as a kitten. Now, as a full grown cat, he will still hop on my back and drape himself around my shoulders. It really is hilarious and adorable. He loves hitching a ride between rooms on my hubby’s shoulders since he is bigger. We don’t mind at all. My mom thinks we are both insane...lol.

The chicken herself doesn't have a disability, it's how their breed is. I don't know why you think someone would have put her down.... But in the video there was no (at least mentioned) disability for the chicken. The dog was abandoned and left to freeze, most likely due to his birth defect, which in my opinion is worse than being put down as it takes longer and is more painful. It is great that the dog was found though as it means he now gets to live his life happily with his friend and get the care that he needs. I hope you found this helpful!! After watching Mr. G and Jelly bean, I realized that I will never be able to separate my two Mares. One is actually the mother of the other and I was thinking about separating them and allowing my dad to take the daughter but now I will never separate them. I knew they lived each other but wow, I’m amazed at how much they can love each other.

On behalf of your horses, I thank you for your decision not to separate them. I have been involved with animals in many capacities for over 55 years, and separating strongly bonded animals is one of the worst things one can do. When I was very young, we had to put our older dog to sleep, so we took her to the vet. The younger dog (about 3 yrs old, vigorous and healthy) died about 10 months later. He never stopped looking for his friend, staring intently out the window toward the park we all used to go to, and when he was on leash, if he saw a dog in the distance that looked like his friend, he would go nuts until we got close enough for him to realize it wasn't her. It makes me cry 40 years later to think of it, and I still feel terribly guilty. The good lesson I learned, however, was to always have a vet come to the house when the time comes to deliver a beloved companion from intractable suffering, and to let all the animals in the house see their friend. Animals seem to have an understanding of death, and they can recover from such a loss more readily (usually) than having their buddy simply disappear one day. We even had this happen to one of our tortoises - when her brother died suddenly, she stopped eating and wouldn't come out of her cave, tho she was young and previously very active. The two of them had slept and eaten together, and even played tag and hide and seek! Her grief went on for weeks, and we thought we'd lose her too. Finally we found another tortoise of the same species and age, and our original girl slowly recovered (tho they have never bonded in the same way as the sister and her brother). Please, everyone, if you have companion animals who have developed a bond, I beg you not to let them be separated if it's humanly possible.

That's my thesis on exactly how such a great big animal can fit inside such an itty bitty urn...... THEIR SOULS ARE GONE!!! So without a great big soul to go with their great big personalities, the leftover bits are relatively tiny!!!!! The first time i saw one of my beloved kitties in one of those tiny little urns, i was really confused!!! But then it came to me that the part that was missing was his soul!!!
