Renowned Explorers: International Society also fits pretty well here. You can choose between discovery mode (which really tones down the rogue-like aspects of the game by allowing you to re-try battles) and adventure mode, both of which can be played at 4 different difficulty settings. In adventure mode it feels strangely rewarding to make risky choices that might jeopardize your run (must find more shiny things!). The fact that it is a strategic, turn-based game, makes it a pretty chill experience.

I highly recommend Backpack Hero, Paper Planet, or Luck Be A Landlord. They are all pretty chill. A run in Paper Planet takes I think at most 30 minutes? Backpack Hero is similar. Luck Be A Landlord is a game that focuses mainly on choosing the right items so if you overthink stuff it can get pretty long, but it’s very enjoyable and you can always just take a break.

I really like Backpack Hero! It's definitely more accessible than other roguelikes, I'm excited for 1.0.

Peglin is a pretty accessible peggle-based roguelike, it's chill and has a nice simple soundtrack. The game doesn't ask much from you, just play peggle with some cool orbs.

I was really close to mentioning Peglin. It's easy to just laugh at yourself when you plan out a beautiful turn and then completely whiff hehehe
