Hey 👋 I got a case I think is really interesting. The disappearance of Madison Scott, in BC, Canada. Maddy went missing in 2011 and was never found. Nobody knows what happened and nobody has ever found a body. I used to live in this area of BC and this case was the one that really got me into true crime. I'd love to see someone mention it because it's so strange and there are so many theories surrounding this case.

This is just an observation. I find it so interesting that from looks and what we heard about him that he’s an ‘ideal victim’ meaning we immediately have assumptions resulting in more sympathy, and he was a dad so that also increases more sympathy, anger towards the perpetrator. Anyone getting stabbed would be a victim but I just find this so interesting. It’s honestly not hate. I’m just so interested

I’m sorry, he was 31, had a long term girlfriend, and he wasn’t ready to move out? *I know who I suspect* Edit: I’d like to work out a misunderstanding: this was meant to say “he doesn’t WANT to move out” rather than “he can’t”. Something about him not *wanting* to move out from his dads at 31 rubbed me the wrong way

You must be from the US 😜 here is rather common that if you're not married nor do you need to travel for work and there's a place in your parents house you just stay there. Renting a flat or a house in Europe is extremely expensive, i won't even mention buying your own place, which is almost impossible before 30. So it's not weird actually he was living with his father.

Maybe he always hated his stepfather so he moved with him to make his move. Maybe he just did it for fun. Maybe none of my reasons are correct or maybe he some how forgot he killed his father and decided to run away because he didn’t want to be in jail for his whole life. Possibly which I don’t want to accuse, the father could’ve been abusing him or something maybe he moved with his father so he can plan his murder

I was best friends with his little brother (Ben Seggie), I spent a lot of time round his house with the family. Ate dinner with them and stayed over night on many occasions. I can't say why Dan killed his Dad but It was clear they did NOT get along. For the whole time that I knew them there was always a bitterness between them. It was not a loving household. lots of insults thown both ways. Never saw them in a full blown arguement but I got the vibe that thay hated each other for thier own reasons.
