I feel like I can see this fight going like this in this order -There recording their new Christmas music video -Alvin and Simon get in an argument about the dance -They have a small but not kill fight -Theo tries to stop it but gets accidentally killed by the other two -Alvin and Simon Fight to the death to “avenge” Theo -Alvin gets the upper hand especially with his skateboarding skills -He’s close to get the killing blow but Simon goes to Simone and proceeds to brutally kill him -Dave comes home and kicks Simon out before grieving -Simon cries and laughs over what he did while the snow falls and the camera pans away This battle is less battle royal and more Alvin Vs. Simon with Theo dying in the middle of the fight

If i had a nickle for every musician i listen to dropping alvin and the chipmunks music on April fool's I'd have two which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

I... Well that was pretty far from what I originally imagined. But it truly is the matchup of all time. I was originally going to make a joke review about how this track was actual perfection and the like similar to what I did last year with Brandon Yates' April Fools release. But it turns out that this track is actually genuinely really appreciable. I mean, it's pretty hard to review it because it still is a joke matchup at its core, but the fact that the track actually sounds really nice as an upbeat and energetic fight track is heavily appreciable. It has a nice mix of uplifting and generally upbeat atmosphere as said before but also mixes it with more intensity in the moments that need it and of course a generally very catchy and dynamic main atmosphere to the song as a whole. The entire track just has a really pleasing vibe to it that makes it very easy and enjoyable to listen to on all sides. Take the piano used throughout the track as an example, it manages to add a ton of dynamism to the track which avoids it getting stale and the fact that it's mixed in with other instruments to give it even more appreciable is a great addition. But what stands out the most throughout the track is of course the last part of it starting at 2:18. Somehow, JPVS Scores managed to make an Alvin and the Chipmunks Battle Royale track sound genuinely epic with this part. It adds a lot of weight and scale to the song while still feeling upbeat and low intensity. I especially like the way the electric guitar is implemented in the song as it duets with the synth to give out an extremely fluid and great-sounding segment that fully stands out. And of course the final crescendo starting at 3:06 also feels really nice because it still feels dynamic while being the track's ending. Honestly I'm surprised at how good this last arc of the song sounds for this matchup. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Overall this track is one that I fully expected to be a "listen to once, make a small joke comment, be done with it forever" but in the end it turned out to be a genuinely appreciable track that sounds catchy, dynamic and more importantly really good. I think that this may be the actual joke about this track: everyone expected a joke track but in the end it was a genuinely good song. Way to subvert expectations. Amazing job as always with this.
