The knowledge of good and evil, I believe, was a real thing, a fulcrum by which man became responsible to God for his paths. Our chosen paths all led downhill to death until The Savior intervened, caused us the Elect to receive His life giving power and raised us to live again in His presence. Having the knowledge of good and evil is not the same as having the power to resist evil and hold to the good, unless Christ...

Pastor Jack privately interpreted the scripture in Joshua 24:15 when he said "Joshua put it this way. Joshua said, for you, Israel, make up your mind. Are you going to serve these gods of your pagan fathers that worship Baal and Ashtoreth and all these pagan deities? Or are you going to worship Yahweh? Choose today whom you shall serve. If God determined in advance those who would go to hell based upon His choosing, then what was Joshua talking about? (J.Hibbs)" The Bible says in Joshua 24:15: God did not give the Israelites a choice in Joshua 24:15, He said, if it seem evil to you to serve me, wow, that means I've already told you to serve me. (Deut 11:13, Deut 28:14) God is looking through their perspective. You think it's evil for you to serve me. See the difference there, Instead of just taking something right out in the middle of the text, God has already commanded the Israelites to serve Him, Deut 11:13. (JR)

CHOOSE YE THIS DAY.... THIS is a day of CHOOSING. ( of course we all 'choose' and make our choices!!! ) All of this division we see in this world, in this nation and in the church... this is the sword of Christ. (not a weapon of war, but a sharp blade that divides) Christ came not to bring peace (worldly peace) to the world, but DIVISION. This, my friend is the preparation for the separation of the wheat from the tares. On that day, there will be no middle ground. NO middle ground. All must choose.... All will be compelled to choose. CHOOSE YE THIS DAY whom you will serve. As for me... I will serve the Lord. (I have a small plaque of this on my front door) This is a day of choosing. And, in order to choose wisely, we must know TRUTH. Those that LOVE truth shall be saved... Those that do not have a love for truth, shall be deceived. CHOOSE YE THIS DAY!!!!!!

you did not chose Me, I chose you. All that the Father has given me shall come to Me, I lose not one. But unto you it has been granted to beliveve. You are preaching the ultimate humanism. And as many as received Him, (not accept) to those He gave the power of salvation, not by the will of the flesh, or the blood, but by the will of God who has mercy. Free will died with Adam when he chose sin. When you were born did you have a choice to not be a sinner? No you were spiritually dead. Only by grace you are saved. The natural man accepts not the things of God.............

Did Lazerus choose to be brought back to life by Christ? Obviously this specific situation is dealing with his physical life but it gives an awesome picture of what Jesus does with us dead sinners when He brings us to "spiritual life" by His choice. Just like in the creation account in Genesis when God speaks there is life that springs forth where He wills. Also when Jesus was speaking directly after the popular John 3:16 verse, He speaks of the Holy Spirit going back and forth and going where He wills. Giving God ALL the glory in the salvation process is the only acceptable thing for a Christian to do. If it were up to us we would all be totally lost.

Salvation is all of God 100 percent. (Jonah 2:9). He saves us all by Himself. Salvation is of the Lord (Ephesians 2:1-10: Romans9:15-16). You don’t have the free will to choose God. God chooses you. You can not work for your salvation. It is a free gift (Roman’s 5:15, 16, 6:23). Our only responsibility is to turn away from sin and to receive Christ as our Lord and Savior(John 1:2. Acts16:30-31). Salvation is: By grace alone as the basis of salvation. Through faith alone as the means of salvation . In Christ alone as the object of faith.

I had a hard time when i went in the military and played war games . With the word expendable ! I actually joined for a trade . But fighting didn't bother me let me go down fighting ! And take some with me . But being expendable is in all branches . I say that because my first war games i went to my Chief . Chief i joined the wrong service 🤣 but i wasn't laughing at the time . I said what's up with jumping in front of a torpedo , and not going down with a fight ? He says that's so the Carrier can carry on , I said i need to swap from the Coast Guard to the Navy . It comes down to all that i want to be able to fight . He looks at me you will be aight . I never got it while i was in oh i knew the aircraft carrier was why we were all their . I just didn't like expendable out the gate ! After i got out got married we had a son . Expendable didn't seem to bad for me , i knew if trouble ever came . I would have to be expendable! Even to the point of my belief . See as a young man i knew i would see whats going on in the world today . No I'm not a profit ! I even shared this with some of my family once i got back home . Before getting married they called me crazy and sick . I didn't argue lol because i knew what was coming and what i would see would be more crazy and sick than their thought of me . As the years went by i started to believe maybe it was a crazy thought . Then the crazy knob started cranking up before covid . I thought this to shall pass but it didn't then i started thinking where is the end to all of this . Prior to this for fifteen years things that happened to me while in started to bring me down physically . Knocked down get back up then repeat for fifteen years . Its actually continuing to this day going on 17-18 years now . See i can't stay down without a fight at first i couldn't stand physical weakness . As i get older that has shifted to mental weakness as the body ages i see i have to get smarter . And I'm the type of person i have to flip something every way it can be flipped . So i don't miss that simple thing thats the answer , my job after i got out was fixing people's problems . With machines or things no one else could fix and i taught other mechanics to always think simple . But even when we do this all of us think to complicated . Even those that teach it ! Its the same as studying Gods word we have to be in it and work at it every single day . To grow not in doubt! See i didn't join the Coast Guard for law enforcement nor to save people . I joined for a trade and in the engineering rate the Coast Guard wasn't so specialized . We worked on just about everything i knew I would be introduced to much . But i knew i wanted to rebuild diesel engines big ones . I later went on to rebuild engines in the deadliest catch ships . One day when the cruise liner Princedam had an engine room fire . Crew and passengers had to abandon ship in the gulf of Alaska . Even in a raft or lifeboats one still doesn't have long to live . And much of the passengers was senior citizens . Couple weeks before this many of us was sitting around talking why we joined . 99% of everyone sitting there i joined to save lives . Well then that day came we got the SAR call for the princedam . We had gotten underway without a very important part on one of our engines . So we all get called to main control we need a volunteer there will be no medals or ribbons for this . But while underway at full speed we need this part on the engine . I looked around that group and many was there saying why they joined . Not a single one volunteered i thought to myself here is y'all's chance . Y'all should be fighting over who will do this , still not a one . I stood there and thought if one of those people die because of something we could have done to get there faster on the FT4a gas turbine engines . It would haunt me the rest of my life ! Myself and our EO = engineering officer didn't get along we hated each other . And if no one put this part in he would had lost his commission . My bones are dieing still today from sitting on that much heat . I volunteered when i knew no one would and iost respect for many men that day . They didn't know anything about expendable ! The header i had to sut on the temperature was 960° inside of it . It melted my boone docker's i almost had a heat stroke and not a one checked to see if i was ok after doing this . I thought yeah y'all joined the right branch because there's no fight or compassion in not one of you . But i learned that day what expendable truly means . I thought how Jesus was expendable on the cross that day . And on that rescue with a typhoon coming in , time wasn't our friend nor the crew and passengers . There was no loss of life ! But i learned through this expendable . Doesn't always mean death and that being expendable isn't a bad deal . It can actually be life changing that helps us grow !

ut o the debate of Calvinism vs Arminianism. are we gonna preach it from mans perspective or Gods? Man doesnt have the ability to choose God but God who is rich in grace and mercy choose to give you the free gift of eternal life. esp 2 8 and 9 says that not of your free will salvation is a gift from God. God does not give the gift of salvation to everyone. I do not believe in universalism. God says i will have mercy on whom i will have mercy. *Genesis 15 - "Abraham's righteousness"* Christianity vs. Hebrew: You can see in the beginning of chapter 15 that says: "After this" - the hebrew says "After those things" - meaning, what had happened previously in the previous chapter: *Abraham swore it the name of the Lord (the explicit name) when facing the king of Sodom, and refused to take what isn't his, other than food for his people.* *That it why he was given charity from God.* Your translations regarding genesis 15 are inaccurate. The Hebrew means this : *and he believed in God and he considered it a charity from Him.* (Abraham considered it a charity from God, after God had promised him an heir and that he will have many descendants). Abraham was not given these blessing by faith alone, he proved to God he was worthy, and he considered that a charity from God, and not the other way around.

@EBRoyJr9 ай бұрын
@@PazPinhasRahamim9220 I don't answer questions by command from another human. I answer in my own words. True worship is done by action unto obedience to the Lord. That's the answer to your first question. Your second question, Jesus IS God. There are many appearances that Jesus made to the Old Testament saints. In the fiery furnace with the 3 Hebrews....I can't spell their names...🤣😂🤣, the Angel of the Lord wrestling with Jacob, with Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. So yes, they did worship the Son of God when He appeared to them.

@@EBRoyJr Then show me Jesus's name, his actual name was worshiped by the forefathers.
@EBRoyJr9 ай бұрын
@@PazPinhasRahamim9220 I'm not going to play your game. Of course the name "Jesus" doesn't appear in the Old Testament. Nor does it appear in the New Testament for that matter. The name of the Son of God is Yeshua...not "Jesus." However, "Jesus" is a derivative of Yeshua and is commonly accepted as His name in the English speaking world. Some in other parts of the world call Him Yesu, others Yeshu. So, what's your point? Yes, Abraham worshipped the Angel of the Lord who came to him and told him of Sodom and Gomorrah's impendending destruction. Abraham bowed at the feet of Melchizedek and gave him a tenth of the spoils. Many theologians believe Melchizedek was "Jesus." Im not sure of this but their arguements are strong. Moses took off his shoes and bowed in worship to the voice coming out of the burning bush. And the Apostle John said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word is God. So, since Christ was with God in the beginning, it stands to reason that He was worshipped along with Yahweh...Jehovah...the Elohim. Don't ask me to explain the trinity or how the trinity works. I cannot. Yes, there is the Heavenly Father, Yahweh. Yes, there is the Son of God, Yeshua, "Jesus" or Yesu. And yes there is the Holy Spirit. Three in One. How are they three in One? I have no idea. But I do know this...one day I will see Him as He is. Then I will begin to understand.

We have been watching the Romans series (Wednesday nights) for over a year now. Tomorrow 3/6 we will be on “What Spirit Lives in You” (Part 3). I would like to know if you have shorter lessons for the Sunday School class (Middle School).

People in the audience (congregation) makes it distracting for any pastor to speak while doing his sermon unless he’s ask a question. If I can hear it by watching tv or KZbin an it’s distracting, then I know it’s distracting for the pastor. Be respectful while you’re in church! Don’t yell out! It’s not going to gaurentee you’ll be on tv. Jus sayin!

Hey Jack, this is not the real Gospel you are preaching. Your exegesis is shocking. The choice is only yours, whether you want to believe it or not!! Look again at Romans 10.
