Sadly, Patrick Aspbury, the boy singing at the beginning, died tragically on April 12, 2017 when he was hit and killed by a Train near his home in Essex. At the time, he was being treated at the mental health clinic The Linden Centre, which notoriously has had scores of patients die. It appears that Patrick may have taken his own life! RIP dear choirboy!

I love their voices and their singing, it projects a mood too beautiful for words to describe and this song recording just nails it. But somewhere along the lines of their singing and the songs they sing, I noticed that credits to the composers are appallingly missing. Doesn't anybody ever give credits to those artists who form at least 50% of the partnership or collaboration, as you may, in showcasing the singers' talent? To go to my point, who wrote this song/hymn? Does anybody know? Doesn't anybody even care to know or find out? I am asking because I want to know.

@stad97 I'm not a recording engineer, so I wouldn't know what exactly was done. But it sounds to me like a lot of compression, and also auto-tune. Not that these boys need it - they sound like excellent singers to me. I sing in a cathedral choir, so I know what real boys sound like. There's a robotic, overly-polished sound to this recording (eg: "lift up the light" at 1:10). It's a very nice piece of music, and the boys have very fine voices, but the engineer / studio have ruined it..
