Yup, but I’m glad like a few of them was able to receive the Holy Spirit like Nick Shakoour who fully accepted God’s invitation and has become a devout Christian now because of the show, I pray that the other cast will also open their hearts and receive the Holy Spirit and finally believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (let’s see when they film the crucifixion I have a feeling some of them will finally see what Jesus did for us all and convert)

They're actors. They are fulfilling roles. They are not preaching the gospel. They clearly say time and time again that this show isn't the Bible and you need to read your Bible. Hopefully, this show will encourage that. As for individuals faith, hopefully, if they can be around true believers, they can learn something. One plants, another waters, God gives the increase. This is something people tend to forget. The Chosen is not a show about Christ and His followers made by Christian people who are doing this for the glory of Jesus and His kingdom, but rather it is a show that is made by actors and other professionals in the film making industry that happens to be about Jesus and His early followers. Here’s the thing about that. How many people has it gotten to find God? If people are excepting him as their savior because of the show then it doesn’t matter what the business side of things is, all that matters is it’s an incredible show that has the ability to reach people. That’s why I’m not boycotting it like a lot of other people are because of the gay pride flag. I don’t support that at all, but the show is not led and created by all Christians. The script is a dramatization based on scripture. There's lots of errors in it, like the way John the Baptist was portrayed when he argued with Jesus about the "filth" of Herod's marrying his brother's wife. Scripturally, John was never broadcasting it as an issue. Rather, he was challenging Herod on a personal level, as any of us would do in relationships where people we care about are going in a wrong direction.

Jesus and the absolute belief in him is the only way to heaven. The Chosen is episodic television series that depicts the life of Christ and his followers. It hits on most of the crucial moments involving Jesus and his disciples in the early days of Christianity. It is not meant to replace or be in place of anything. It's educational and thanks to the creators it's also very entertaining too. I love Jesus with all of my heart but most of the folks including myself watching the chosen might be forcing themselves to be watching the show if it were done like most other religious films. I really hope this series reaches more people and gets them to take a closer look at our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. WE MUST BECOME LESS SO JESUS CAN BECOME MORE. The Word of God does not come back void. Think about how wonderful it is that some are NOT Christian and that the Lord has them working on a show where they are being exposed to Scripture and the Bible. Who can say the seeds that can be sown in their lives even though right now they are unbelievers.

Most Born-again Christians in Western cultures knew words of Jesus before He became the Living Word in them. It was words without faith, albeit some sounded nicer than others, like the Golden Rule. Many of us even liked Jesus before believing in him as Lord and Savior. We need to pray God keeps working in their hearts.

I'm sorry I can't watch this video. I got past the first actor, it was valuable information and he wasn't pictured but as soon as "Nicodemus" came up I had to scroll away because when I read about Nicodemus I don't want to see an actor's face. I was just getting some info for my friends who DO watch people acting as Jesus. In fact I have heard people say how relieved they are to watch the Chosen because now when they pray, they can picture a face to pray to.
