When they speak in their normal voices, it takes my brain a few seconds to recognize them out of character. Same when they are out of costume. I am so thankful to have a platform where their excellent acting comes together so we only perceive the characters and not the individuals. ❤️ It is a true testaments to various walks of life working together for one purpose. Something we can all learn from on many levels.

My current favorite Simon Peter moment so far is when some of the Pharasees are giving Jesus a bad time about touching the woman who had the bleeding problem after she had been healed, and Simon asked "Are we really having this conversation" at the same moment I was thinking that very question. That was super cool to me.

Oh my goodness... I am obsessed with this series... I love ALL the characters, I love the stories and they leave me wanting to see more and watch longer each time. Keep up the great works folks, I love to see the behind the scenes... you all are amazing and making a difference. I have now watched all the episodes thru season 4 twice with most of my 8 grandchildren and still want to see it again. I can not wait for season 5. AND YES KEEP THE FUNNIES COMING

Years ago when I first became acquainted with, "The Chosen," I was happy to see the stories of the Bible come to life in such a kind, and gracious manner, as well as good acting. Now, my opinion has changed completely. At first I could not put my finger on why I seemed to have doubts but now I can. The book of Mark shows the truly righteous side of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the book I was in at the time I recognized the lack of biblical truth in the shows portrayal of Jesus. .He was not always a smiling happy man/god. Many times He showed righteous holy anger. To understand this side of His holiness you need to read the book of Mark. Actually, ANY book of the Bible displays His righteousness and holiness. I congratulate the people chosen to play in this continuing "story" of Christ Jesus because it is certainly entertaining and well acted. With some righteous changes, this could be a good account of the truth behind the biblical stories.

i would like to see more for sure. Thanks for bringing these. But could we SEE some actual clips which implies 30-60 seconds of footage. For some of your showings were literally a split second and some were 1 to 2 seconds. Thats not a clip- that's like those popcorn images that flash in a movie so fast they are not discernible with your eyes. Your lead ins are 4x the length of the flashes. is there a reason Why are they so short?? And my gosh Actor Andrew is a very attractive man with incredible hair. show more of him!!

My dad helped build The chosen sound stage and Capernaum and I've seen them fillm 2 scenes I have met Jonathan Rome and I forgot his name plays Simon there's a picture of me with them I saw the snake dream scene and my dad isn't in the chosen but he was is there when they filmed the feeding of the 5000 he helped a lot of people I think he was in a live video his name is Tad

Though Christ supported the law of Moses (primarily in the Ten Commandments) he also established a new way of living, stresing upon a kind of forgiveness that was at that time alien to the Jews. You want to enjoy distortions without seeing or reading any corrections? The Chosen falsely dramatises the life of God on Earth, for the sake of creating cinematically powerful scenes, and selling their "merch". This being a divine and holy subject, of course there will be criticisms, just as Christ Himself criticised the vendors in the temple of God, who, by selling their wares, were turning it into a market. I have not called it a crime, it is you who have used that exaggerated word. I have merely pointed out the facts about this serial, which you have confirmed by mentioning their disclaimer.

You take the most sacred story, which was loving preserved and very carefully translated over centuries, whose original meaning and purpose, based on exact scripts, have been the matter of profound contemplation for so many over generations... You casually take this and then change the narrative arbitrarily merely for cinematic effect...of course you will get corrective feedback, for the sake of unsuspecting viewers at least. Of course you will have to repeatedly issue disclaimers. Dallas calls it a "Jesus show", for he is using the story of Jesus and applying artistic license heavily in spades.
