I just rediscovered this amazing band. Didn't know Roger sadly died. What a legacy though.

I met Roger in about 1986/1987 when I was a student in Liverpool. A group of us went to look around a house that was for rent in L7 and the guy who showed us around (owned it?) said his name was Roger Christian. Googled it to see if I recognised him and I do. So sorry he died - I didn't know.

He died when I lived in Japan. Garry and Henry have talked about it and Garry is involved in things about brain tumours. They are touring with Level 42, this Autumn.

Worked at a hotel as a lad back in the late 80's where The Christians stayed. All of them very pleasant (especially Garry - a very softly spoken gent), except Roger, who was a most unpleasant, arrogant and rude man.

I grew up with Roger and his elder bro Denis who were both gentlemen and the nicest guys you could hope to meet !
