The Christians is and was one great underrated UK band who had a little hit with this one in 1987, and it's taken from their debut album who was also called "The Christians"
And they are still going strong!

It was born of hard times. Liverpool and the north were still mired in years of fallout from the long, damaging recession that had taken place. A recovery had started to take hold in the south in the second half of 1986 and was starting to reach into some southern parts of the Midlands by the time this song gave the Christians their debut hit early the next year. The construction sector seemed to be one of the first to see the green shoots of a recevory,it seemed.

No life for living Where there’s no time for giving No sign of living In this age of push and shoving Another man with a broken heart Can you see the preasure tearing me apart? There’s so much for me to overcome Should I stay or fight? But where else is there I can run? How can I get out? There’s no way I can get out How can I get out? There’s no way I can get out No life for living Where there’s no time for giving No reassuring can end what I’m enduring I’m looking hard for the slightest sign Hear your words echoing around my mind I’m starting to believe what me papers say Yet one more blow I’m reeling but I can’t run away How can I get out? There’s no way I can get out How can I get out? There’s no way I can get out But if you’d open your eyes You’d know there’s so much you could do If you’d open your eyes You’d make a 1,000 wishes come true Well this must be one of the troubles of the living In this forgotten town Don’t get me wrong Hear the hollow words ringing, now the chips are down No life for living Where there’s no time for giving No reassuring can end what I’m enduring How can I get out? There’s no way I can get out How can I get out? There’s no way I can get out But if you’d open your eyes You’d know there’s so much you could do If you’d open your eyes You’d make a 1,000 wishes come true Well this must be one of the troubles of living In this forgotten town Don’t get me wrong Hear the hollow words ringing, now the chips are down

Yes, Garry looks about 6'4 to me. He's a lot taller than his brothers Russell and the sorely missed Roger, which is very unusual. Male siblings all tend to be of a similar height. The Christians were a great band from Liverpool that SHOULD have been huge, but for bizarre reason they never were.
