This movie is very cliche and not creative or original at all, but it's entertaining AF. Once I started watching, I couldn't stop. Great movie to watch with your kids. The lead girl was actually great, I see a future in acting for her, also obviously Kurt Russell was amazing. It's a kid's movie that Kurt doesn't need to be embarased about, cuz usually when R rated action stars do kid's movies, it's cringe and embarrassing.

Here in Scandinavia Santa actually visit children in their homes every year on Christmas Eve (which is the main celebration day here) and gives them the presents instead of just dumping them under the tree and leave. I guess we got lucky haha.

I finished watching this 5 minutes ago and this is the best Christmas movie I have EVER seen I rate this 5 stars it is humorous and I would recommend this to all ages. This film is TERRIFIC!!!! I just wished it would have come out in Theaters to get the Millions/Billions it deserves, I love Kurt Russel in films anyway....I knew it was going to be good but it was GREAT......like STAR WARS or like when Disney puts out its very best during the Holiday months. Ahhh. I remember, 2018 the cold setting in the sweet smell of December and the joyful vibes of Christmas. The room with a dim light on I covered myself in the warm blankets, turned on the tele, put on Netflix and started watching this, it was brilliant, and packed a punch. And now it felt as if Christmas was officially here. I feel nostalgic, remembering those days. Almost 3 years, as if passed by a flick. Now I watch the trailer again to reminisce those days. Take care people, Christmas is 89 days away… I shall return to this after 89 days to feel Christmas. ✝️ Merry Christmas to y’all in advance guys. Stay safe.

We watched THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES last night and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was great fun and the production values were really solid. Kurt Russell was a true joy to watch and the fun, mischievous twinkle he gets in his eyes adds a charming spark to the goings on. We very much liked the heart at its core and it's going to be annual viewing in our house! The only thing that really bugged us was the natural proclivity of a ten-year-old to use foul language -- she's so programmed to use it that she can barely control her use of it even while making a video letter to Santa under the intent to prove to him that she's a truly good kid. All of that felt misplaced. But once we got passed the start and once Kurt Russell appeared the movie soared and was quite joyful.
