Thank you. Jackson could be a bit more clinical but he's doing so much off the ball overcompensating for a lack of a CAM, then he's expected to get into the box with composure, after a play he started, and score. Hard to prove statistically but he needs help around him, he looked different when Palmer took a bit if creative weight off his shoulders.

This is the best analysis of Jackson . In a club where no midfielder can score no matter what chances , it makes it easy for opposite teams to defend Jackson because No striker scores every chance that comes their way not even Kane or Halaand but because the midfielders are equally threat when Nkunku or Carney plays behind Jackson we will see goals and defences open up

the difference between Jackson & nk in preseason was that nkunku was still scoring every game he played in near enough, Jackson scored once. every quality of Jackson we saw in preseason he's shown in the league, his link up play & movement have been excellent, but he wasn't burying chances non stop in preseason, and anyone who expected him to be a goal scoring machine instantly was clueless. nkunku was going to guarantee us at least 11 league goals if he had a reasonable amount of gametime.

Realistically the only thing we are missing that would change the club completely is a forward with good central movement, a proper no.9. Creating chances isn’t a problem, one of the best if not the best team in the league at it but we can’t finish it off. I’m not fully convinced that nkunku can do that but if he can then much better times are coming for Chelsea

Chelseas biggest attacking threats since 2016 have been wingbacks. Alonso/Moses, James/Chilwell, when the wingsbacks are flying high and wide the wingers get the rhythm to do things. Chelsea needs Chilwell & James fit on both wings to get the best out of Nkunku, Jackson, Palmer.

The PL is toughest league in the world. Most of these guys have come from lesser intense or less tough leagues and have been thrown together in preseason where they won the Premier League Summer Series. Now the reality has set in. They are learning on the iob. The football is there it just needs finishing. I know this squad will go a long way in the World Club Cup in 2005. We may even win it. Them excuses will start as soon as he starts. 1st will be, he never had a preseason, then will be, it's his 1st season, it takes time to build up chemistry. The PL isn't easy and only a select few come in on big hype and make it look easy. For that to happen 1st the player has to be different gravy and 2nd the team can't drag him down. I get the feeling it will be sad for him on both.

What he says is right.. We can see that once palmer came.. Palmer when playing as winger, does not play hugging that wide line.. He occupies space in the middle areas also giving a bit more work for the defence of opposition and helping Jackson to be much more free..i think mudryk and sterling should cut inside from wing much more.. Honestly we are harsh on Jackson . He is not a magician. He barely has supplies and he works his as off most times to even get that one short at goal in difficult positions,he is not the saviour of Chelsea. We need players to be more creative . Sterling is doing him no good,he still plays like a child ,that want to always run with the ball without looking out for his teammates. Look at Haanland on Saturday ,he missed a good beautiful tap in but it did not matter because the create more chAnces to make up for those list chances .

Nobody doubt Nkuku's ability to play well, but hopefully he adapt to EPL and also shake off his injury problems because it is a tough league that demands physical and mental strength. We all know something is missing in the team immediately he get injured and it get worst for Nicolas Jackson in attack immediately Chukwuemeka followed suit. We had to add a quality striker in January transfer window. Ivan Toney is an EPL experience. Victor Osimhen may not be bad in the summer as well.

as an outsider i’m not sure it would work against top teams having nkunku as a 10 then 2 wingers and a striker also. Either he plays as a false 9 or u make sure nkunku drops in at times to help defensively. I can’t think of a team in world football right now that’s doing great with an out and out 10 and striker, even teams like arsenal with odegaard and city with kdb have to discipline them so they help out in midfield. Especially with how teams are playing with a box midfield nowadays, on the counter if it’s basically 4v2 in midfield they have no chance

Werner came from the Bundesliga and couldn’t find his form in the Prem for us. There are other players from the Bundesliga who found their form and have been stars in the Prem for many years now. Let’s hope he can find his form and be the player we need to get things working up top. Shame our biggest problem is injury’s and there’s no clear answer as to why we are getting so many and is going to keep holding us back.
