Longboxes were made for the music stores so that they didn’t have to change their displays while still stocking CD’s. If you put 2 side by side they fit in a display where a 12 inch vinyl would fit… Great video and great collection! 👍🏻

The longbox I never 👀 it back in the early 80's and 90's 2000's,, they shop here the cassette tapes and CD 📀,, oady. Like the Dr. Dre the chronic solo 1st album 1992 interspcope record, back the CD and cassette tapes casa prodatered by Dr. Dre, not by Suge knight, Before The time stories.

Dope collection of Dr Dre, The Chronic is a golden gem I've been trying to get a hold of the original press of the LP just hard to come across and they go sky rocketed I got the reissue though the only thing I have for the original pressing is the cd

Great video, thanks for sharing. The red and yellow diamond on the long box is a symbol to indicate the CD inside was sealed in plastic so that music stores could discard the long box. Cheers.

Great collection! I don't think you spoke about the proposed track listing for the album and why certain songs were removed (The Day The Niggaz Took Over replaced one of them dealing with the riots, etc.). Also, all of the official b-sides from this album were released on The Death Row Singles Collection (B-Sides, Remixes & Rarities). Keep up the good work!

Great collection. You have the original chronic collection from the original pressing in Great condition Great video. I seen a original chronic LP on ebay in worse condition going for over $200. Love to see the wu tang collection. Peace ✌️

Whats the difference between 'The Chronic' 1992 first pressing cassette and 'The Chronic' 1992 first pressing cassette without the 'Death Row Inmates' print? Was the no inmates version printed even before the other version?

That is a great question. I'm not sure I know the answer. I think it was just a slight change the label made but I have no intel as to why. Like was it an afterthought to add and/or remove it. TY for the support. I'll see if I can track down an answer.

Sick video! Yeah man 30 years since the first Chronic came out. I was 13 years old, born in 1979. I think we around the same age. I was in grade 8 and bought the album on tape. I only bought it cause i was a huge nwa fan back then. I went to music store one day and saw dre dre album and his face on the cover, so I bought it from being a fan of nwa. Are they gonna be doing any special release for this 30 year anniversary?

I can’t believe Snoop Dogg removed it from streaming services I get that Spotify doesn’t pay their artists, but you are stopping future fans from enjoying this album. now if you want to listen to this album, you have to listen to it on KZbin, cd, vinyl or purchase it as an NFT.
