Got mine some 25 years ago under an earlier brand name, hasn't changed other than the name. Used mine hundreds of times over the years and it's held up just fine. I believe, back then, I paid $125 for it, worth every penny.

Yoke could have designed a 1/2 or 2/3 deep divider that can accommodate both soapy and rinse water.

If there were a divider then the camp stove, or anything else tall that you'd want to put under the lid, would not fit.

First off, Chuck Boxes have been around since cooks mounted boxes to the back of Chuck Wagons...hence the name. Worth $300+? Absolutely not. Next, ut should have lightweight cables or chains holding the lid and door perpendicular to the box. For $300 you'd think they would do more

You’d be $300 into it with time and material! Let alone if it gets wet the wood swells. Everything has its flaws but this chuck box will probably last a really long time. Quit being such a jack wagon….

You can literally buy a Plano trunk for $40 that does this exact same thing but allows you way better use of the storage space. This is a major major no.

Hi Angela! 👋 I thought about making one as well. I tried, but it ended up being too heavy. We really love the Yoke Chuck box. Up front cost, but it seems like it will last forever. Our kids will have it for their camping adventures. 😂

I thought the same thing. It's almost $400. However, it's made in USA out of roto-molded plastic, which should stand up to years of abuse.

Something’s are worth what someone will pay for it. It’s rotomolded and will hold up for a long time. Quit buying 30packs of beer and you to can have one.
