@@Brabblgamer33 i can't remember which interview but Kristina talks about it. Maybe in the interview with Ange. Once Beatrice throws the first punch, it's a one shot and they had limited take because of the breakable props. KTY (Beatrice's actress) has to crawl under this thing so her double can quickly replace her, get thrown into a wall, and then swap back out under the view of the camera. It's incredibly well choreographed and set up. I'm a huge fan of one shots and this one is defintely one of the best if not the best.

The technical skills shown by these actors and obviously the stunt team are just amazing, and the fact that they could pull all of this off with a single shot and such a low budget (means they only had a couple tries because of limited breakable props) is a testament to the miracles that everyone involved in this project can pull off. Imagine what they could do with a 3rd season and more support from netflix

actually I'm like 90% sure it's 3 shots very subtly edited together to look like one. each time the camera swirls dramatically or when it's covered by someone moving could be a cut. it's still neat tho that they managed to make it look so seamless if they did it this way.

I watched this series after hearing nothing but good things about it. Now, I have watched both seasons (season 2 specifically) for more than 6 times. I have been practicing martial arts since I was 5 (karate, aikido, and muay thai) and have been working as a stunt man/choreographer for a few years now. It is quite obvious to me how prepared and cohesive the actors and production team were. It showed by how the actors executed each move. They knew how to extend their limbs for the camera and I'm sure the stunt team worked real hard with them to achieve that. When fighting in real life, you don't really take up that much space. But when filming, actors, especially stunt men/women, have to move a certain way, all relative to the where the camera is, to make it more captivating and cool. That's what adds to the badassery of our favorite action movies. This scene is one of my favorites from the show (Mother Superion's and Beatrice's are my top picks because of their style and execution) because aside from the organized mess that this was, the story behind everything just made everything more meaningful. After I watched both seasons, I searched for behind the scenes to see how the actors prepared. There were a few videos that showed a fraction of how hard they had to train to be able to step up to the shoes of the characters they were playing. It was crazy. Their training showed and I don't know why I was so surprised. You could really tell the when a show or a movie is made by people who practice martial arts. I highly recommend anyone who has not seen the show to give it a chance. You will not be disappointed. Don't read any reviews or watch anything else about it. Surprise yourself and I assure you, you'll be pleasantly surprised, as was I!
