Joey, i just buried my mother 2 days before this podcast came out. I loved my mother very much. She lived 1 block from my workplace, so i always hung out with her on my lunch breaks. I found my mother dead in her bed and cold as ice. I screamed in agonizing pain. Thank you for talking about this man. Its a tough world to live in bro and you know my pain. Ive been a huge fan of your podcasts for lil over a year and i never miss one. But this one meant alot to me and i thank you again.

Thank you Joey Diaz. I lost my Ol' Man in 4/19/2013, & he was 53. I was 18. Ruined 4/20 for me forever. And for the past 5 years I have lost family and friends left and right. Devastated me. Changed me. I started listening to your Podcasts & started watching your Stand-Up about 2 years ago. My Dad was a savage, and listening to your stories is so similar to listening to my dads and my uncles. I want to say thank you, because as dark as shit would get, as hard as times would get, the laughter that you and Rogen, Lee, Tommy Bunz, Ari, Bert, Ralphie, etc. It always manages to to shed some light on things. I appreciate what you do man, and know that you have helped me not lose my God damn mind by making me laugh & remember the funny things that my loved 1s did. Tell Lee thank you as well. Hope you have a Happy Birthday Brotha. Looking forward to seeing you March 23rd.

Sometimes I think these podcasts were made for me to find in these moments... I just lost my Father unexpectedly on January 15th at just 63. He battled drug & alcohol addiction his whole life. His birthday was one day before mine, July 26th & mine is July 27th, so our birthdays were always shared together... I am dreading this first birthday without him. But hearing you talk about approaching your 40th birthday without your Mother has given me strength to get through. Thank you for sharing these feelings & thoughts with the world, it helps more people than you will ever know Uncle Joey. Much much love.
