And a bass player! Like we’ve never seen before. Magical. Mystic. Shaman.

I remember the day I got into the Church :) I can't pretend to be a true fan, because I wasn't even born when they were around in their Heyday (see what I did there?), but I've got all their studio albums, and hopefully will get to see them live soon. I remember watching Donnie Darko when I was 14, there's a seen in the car, and he turns the radio on and 'Under the Milky Way' was on. I had to get hold of that song! When I did, I then spent the next 6 years filling the shelves! Love them always!

My. Goodness. This song was great back in 1982; this version takes it to an entirely new dimension. Had Steve possibly could have known that they would be playing it after 30+ years, he might have crafted better lyrics. But it does not matter--the song is just a jam, and a bloody good one at that. Let me play it again.

Have tried and tried but cannot put how good that was in words, suffice to say i can't get enough of this version. Fantastic. So under appreciated by so many. So fully appreciated by so few. Thanks Steve, Marty, Tim, Peter ....love your work.

I saw The Church for the first time at Ritchies in Preston, Melbourne, Australia in 1982 and I'm sure they did this song. Priceless song and pretty good memories.

I saw them on their first tour around Oz. At the Stagedoor Tavern, Seaton Hotel (Adelaide). Door ticket was $1.07 as its was SA-FM radio station promoting (107 on the FM dial). Great memories.

Hands down one of the best songs I've ever seen played live. Saw them play the song at The Bridgeway Hotel, Adelaide on the original "The Blurred Crusade" tour way back then - decades ago. The Church were blistering that night - that twin guitar sound has stayed with me forever.

The best song of one of the best albums! Their is not a bad song on Blurred Crusade, it flows like water from beginning to end. I had the pleasure of meeting them on Gold afternoon fix tour and they are cool and down to earth as hell. Always a fan, they create music that gives you a mood with it. They always seem to put you in a place with every song and that puts them in a original category which is something I greatly respect with music. Live, they are worth every penny never a disappointment!

chado69the1st - as an Aussie who lived "it" in the late 70s/early 80s, early The Church gigs were just so "hard" & "tight" - almost The Angels like in intensity. I fondly remember seeing this played live on TBC tour at The Bridgeway Hotel, Pooraka (Adelaide) - they were awesome that night

Blurred Crusade is a masterpiece. I guess that the 30th Anniversary Series remasters of the album is even better, but that's no flack on the original.
