Agreed ! What's not to like ? 1st team looked outstanding on BOTH sides of the ball ! Mims looks like a starter to me, C Matt Lee was a steal and could allow us to move Karras to OG and get the weak link of the line Volson out of the line up. Yoshi was great ! Burton was the steal of the draft ( if "Bama" had had a great QB as in previous years and thrown the ball more Burton would have been a 1st rounder ) Dax Hill was great, as was Josh Newton ! Maema Njongmeta, was ALL OVER the field ! Myles Murphy was very disruptive and would have been even more disruptive if the refs had made the calls , all the times he was held ! Speaking of the refs, who were in mid - season form ( as far as screwing the Bengals...I thought I was watching us play the Steelers or Ravens after some of those missed calls ) if the refs call that blatant P.I. on Burton on the Bengals last series...we win the game ! In my book, that was a win ! Browning didn't look great...BUT... he was playing behind an O - line with several guys who probably won't be on an NFL roster come opening day ! Guys who are 3rd and 4th stringers against Tampa's 2's and 3's !

During the draft when they drafted Joe I thought for sure Green Bay would draft Higgins. I was so glad they picked Jordan Love (who appears to be a good pick). I was so glad we got him at the top of the second round. I wish they could find a way to keep him. He's one of the best receivers in football.

Glad you mentioned Jackson Carmen. Knocklehead is nervous and jumps the gun on snaps because he has never learned how to use his arms and hands to punch the defensive linemen. He lets them get into his body and shove him around and then he winds up holding them.

We don't have to worry about our secondary with Vonn Bell back (go Bucks)! He's a true Captain and the Bengals realize they made a mistake last year not to resign him. He makes all the players better and I'm so excited to see him back. Our secondary is going to be awesome this year!

Me too ! I've actually been a Packer fan longer than a Bengals fan. I'm 65, and Cincy didn't have a team until I was like 7 or 8 years old....my Dad was a Packer fan so I was too....and then the Bengals came along, at first I wasn't a huge fan, then in the 1970 season ( just their 3rd year of existence ) they went on ( I think ) a 7 game win streak to get a Wild Card berth and I was hooked ! However, the Packers are still my favorite NFC team. Something unique the Packers have in common with the Cincinnati Reds. The Pack over the course of nearly 40 years only had 2 starting QB's...Favre & Rodgers. the Reds over the course of nearly 40 years only had 2 starting SS's...Concepcion & Larkin !

Never been worried about Joe Burrow. People act like a healthy Burrow is a done deal for the AFC championship for the bengals. But the Bengals still has the worst defense in the AFC north by far. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore are still miles ahead of Cincy on the defense. If any of those teams can muster a consistent offense they would easily take the division like Baltimore did last year. Cleveland made the playoffs even with an erratic offense last year, that tells you how good the other areas of their team are.

Jamar Chase isn't the best WR in the NFL, it's Justin Jefferson. No serious person believes Chase is better and honestly Chase is kind of a diva/difficult to work with. As a Bengals fan I honestly wouldn't be mad at this point if they let Chase walk and invest his anticipated salary into the defensive line and resigning Tee. We have enough talent at receiver with Tee and now Jermaine Burton, Gesicky, Yoshi, etc etc
