Ingredients:
To prepare basbousa:
- Semolina medium (1,1/4 cup)
- Yogurt (3/4 cup)
- Vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
- Sugar (1/2 cup)
- vanilla (3 tsp)
- Baking powder (1 tbsp)
- Milk as needed to adjust thickness
The mixture is approximately 1/4 cup
- Eggs (2)
To prepare the cream:
- liquid milk (2 cups)
- Corn Starch (4 tbsp)
- Sugar (1 tbsp)
- cream (170 g)
- Mascarpone cheese (2 tbsp) optional
- Blossom water (optional)
- vanilla (1 tsp)
to give it a glossy layer :
- sugar syrup (3 tbsp)
- Animal ghee or butter (1 tsp)
