I would call that the best Chaplin movie I have seen, but I still enjoy Buster Keaton much more. Amazing how the silent films can still speak to us. Some of us anyway. I wish there was more Roscoe Arbuckle that survived. He mentored both Keaton and Chaplin. Don't miss him, silent film fans.

Both Chaplin and Keaton worked with Roscoe Arbuckle early in their careers, and both had great respect for him. Such a shame that his brilliant career was derailed by baseless accusations that persist until this day.
