I never knew what happened to his career after he got waived by the Wizards and that debacle on Real Housewives of Atlanta. He seems like he needs serious therapy and rehab for his anger issues and substance abuse. Seems like no matter where he goes, trouble follows. Praying for him before it's too late.

He's still in Atlanta playing in semi pro leagues. He hasn't changed. I've seen him square up with a referee recently.

Don't judge a person unless you walk in their shoes. I'm a freind of a family member of his and he (my freind) is 1 of the most talented human beings I have ever met.He don't hoop but from what I can see everybody comes from different places and having a name like glen rice is alot to live up to. I don't know Jr personally but I bet he had more than enough ability and potential to be a star in the NBA. Life is hard and ain't no bigger battle then with yourself. I ain making excuses but it's for people to sit back on the computer and judge you don't know his life what he's been through his pressures. Probly walks around with weight of the world on his shoulders and is yo hard on himself. If he's anything like his relative and dad he's hard working smart funy tough and the list goes on. I'm sending prayers and positive vibes his way I know he'll be successful in whatever he do. Ball might not have been his calling God gots other plans.!!!!!!

@@beans1398 This is an old comment, but I don't think it reads as judgmental. It's obvious that there was _something_ going on. Most of us need professional help for one issue or the other at any given point in our lives. The key is to identify the problem and be vulnerable enough to get the assistance needed.

I played against him in a Miami Summer League (Miami Christian HS "JJ Barea's school") I think that it was the year he got picked by "The Wizards" for the Summer League actually...he was lookin' for some runs before "the official Wizard camp" Actually him n his pops were playing in the same squad...you could see that he had talent...but back then, words on the street was that he had some "behavior issues" at times...

This is crazy. I played with him in saudi arabia league. He was a good guy. He hit me with an elbow by accident when i tried to block his shot and he apologized for it after (most players dont do this). We chatted abit on court too. He was way cooler than other imports from other teams. 🤦🏽♂️

I heard that domestic players of East leagues are amatures (no offence). You have jobs and play basketball as a hobby. I think I read interview somewhere about LIban or Qatar basketball league.

dude, will never get back in the NBA. we aren't talking about an all star player here like his dad. you wanna get away with that sort of stuff you have to be Dennis Rodman like. the reason he got away with it for so long in other leagues is when he keeps his shit together he is an NBA level player, so you have a guy like that in your team it's worth some bullshit, but when all he does is cause headaches and bad PR for teams he just isn't worth the trouble and the thing is the word is out now and you think all the team's he has burned all the team's in those leagues are off limits because all it takes is one phone call from one team or one player to another team to say "don't sign him, he is going to be more trouble then he is worth" the dude has burned bridges in like 6 different leagues at that point it's a widely known fact and anyone that would even be considering him you would think would call one of his former teams just to see how bad he was

4:22 The another player that Glen Rice Jr. hit was Kevin Ferrer of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Actually what happened was after the shot made by his kakampi (Greg Slaughter) on Ginebra, TNT called a timeout when Rice Jr. just hit Kevin Ferrer to the floor and he throw the ball disgracefully. This lead to Ginebra fans shout with "Umuwi ka na" which means "Go back home". After the review by officials he got flagrant foul penatly 1, plus a technical foul because he threw the ball in a wrongly manner resulting in a ejection. When he got ejected, the crowds (particularly Ginebra fans) were (happy) of it. Rice was fined 10.000 Philippine pesos by TNT KaTropa alongside the fine of 26.000 Philippine pesos by the Philippine Basketball Association because of "disgraceful", "unsportsmanlike" and "bad boy" behaviour, it was because that Rice Jr. actually did accusing fingers on assistant coaches and even a TNT representative. Well prior to that chaos that he made, both Rice Jr. and Ferrer got technical foul for taunting during Game 3 series.
