The CITY almost FINED this SENIOR HOMEOWNER for her OVERGROWN PROPERTY! WE Worked Hard To AVOID It!

The City is looking to fine this homeowner with a mandatory court appearance in 30 days due to her overgrown property!! I was given a lead by the gentleman who sold me my lawn mower! While discussing the work that I do in the community with Jeremy a few weeks ago he stated that he also try’s to help people in town when he can but the more than usual need for help during this pandemic has been overwhelming and he hasn’t been able to do as much as he has done in the past. He said he could pass along leads to individuals who are in need of help and assistance and asked if I would be willing to take on the tasks. The hardest part about my job is finding those who are truly in need of the community service I can provide. It’s one thing to help people but it’s another to help those who really need it! So I arrived to this home and walked the property with the amazing homeowner Mrs.Joyce. She stated that she had been living in the home since the 80s and was sure about the area of her property. Just recently a city worker made a visit to the house to inform her that the strip of land behind her fence was indeed her property and that she would have to start maintaining it. If not she would receive a fine and court sentence. He also stated that a tree growing from the side of her property need to be maintained. It just seems like the city is on this senior for no good reasons! I showed up to her home willing to help and work!! We both got out in the hot sun for days to start maintenance on her property to keep the city off of her back. Her birthday is This Sunday,Mother’s Day and the release day of this premiere. I'm grateful for running into you all and kevin, yall inspire me to keep pushing tbh I have permanent nerve damage in my left leg ,a titanium cage in my neck and 4 herniated discs in my back wit 2 impinging a nerve in my back also...keeps me goin wen I'm at work, but I think I messed my neck up a bit or somethen my right trap/shoulder is shot shoots a pain into the neck. Agreed. She needs to check with the city, to confirm she owns the land that the city made her clean up. Where I live, we have satellite maps - you can see your property from the sky. The city imposes the legal lot lines on the satellite map.

Agree with you. Next thing you know the city will say she owes back taxes on the property. It would be ideal if she has the original papers from her purchase. Usually there is a map drawn on the property line. She's going to need all that to make sure she doesn't get fined or tax increases due to size and land value.

I'm from a small town in Mississippi named Bolton, Mississippi, I came across your videos and found out that this is something that I like to watch. Both of you were working together so I believe that it was Al's channel that I saw first, then I started watching all of his videos, some with both of you and some with just him, and then low and behold, I came across AP's videos, I didn't think that it was possible to do yards that big, with grass and weeds that tall, with a weed eater and a regular lawnmower. AP, Miss Joyce should go down to the county/city mapping department and ask about obtaining a parcel map. A fence is an excellent indication of a property line. She may have encountered a corrupt official who will submit a false billing and pocket the money. If the city/county did deed the property to her she would of received an official letter. If she obtains a parcel map no one can con her in the future. I was a real estate appraiser for years. This situation sounds very suspicious. You did a great job. You are definitely one of God's servants. I will pray the Non Profit notification will come through quickly. May God's peace be with you.

Seems to me that the City didn't want to clear their land & decided after 40+ years it's part of the property adjoining it. Miss Joyce needs to get the official land registration records that define her land, get someone to measure it and take it from there. If the City decide to reclaim it after all APs hard work she'll (and everyone else) will know it was a con to get it done for nothing.

Great video! A few thoughts: 1. You might want to invest in a large tarp. It'll help save you from doing so many walks back and forth dragging debris. 2. You might want to consider a wind screen/muffler for your mic. There was a lot of ruffling/wind noises when you were doing the outer parts of the yard. 3. Since you've taken over this channel, I'd love to see you re-brand it as you. Maybe change the name to AP Bladez, and update the logo/banner with pics of you.
