I'm 70 and just beginning to explore modern art. Stella is in a class by himself. What a jewel!

The Newark Museum is an underrated treasure for many New Jerseyans and New Yorkers! I try to tell everyone up here about it (I live in Poughkeepsie, but I'm originally from Queens)!

@cloudtoground : it's in a rapidly improving area near Newark's colleges, Washington Park, and NJPAC. The area seemed safe enough during daytime hours when I visited in 2017.

Stella be like, "I call your triptych and raise you a diptych." I love the artists with a literary side who write about their work or somehow relate it to their experiences. And I relate to his Naples - New York transition except in the opposite sense, going from Miami to Nashville for school. It was a whole new world. 😅 It's hard to choose a favorite, but there's something about The White Way that gets to me. I like the orthogonals, the divine burst of light, and the patterns that remind me of a mosaic. I have a soft spot for Brooklyn. Gotta visit someday. ❤

Your reply is making me laugh too, because when I saw this notification, I was CERTAIN it was about me calling whatshisname "foine" in another video. Go figure. Glad I made you laugh either way, lol. ❤@@smarthistory-art-history
