I used to be so worried I’d lose my twins in all those tunnels when I would take them to City Museum. Some of those slides go down a couple stories and then you have to come back up in another place. Nerve wracking for a mom of curious younguns! 😄

the elevator pods for the arch are SOOOO claustrophobic, but it's worth the view from the top.... Good lord the ride up and down is stressful though. It looks like they've renovated the museum too. It looks a lot nicer than it did last time I went. Also, OMG that city museum is wild! I've been in St. Louis so many times as my mom's side of the family was from there, and I've never known about that place!

When I lived in the St. Louis area, I watched the arch as it was being constructed. Once it opened up, I made several rides to the top. It was not divided back then. You could actually walk from one end to the other. One of the other cool attractions that you could see from the arch was the Admiral. It was an all metal riverboat. It ran up and down the river for a time, (which I did ride more than once) and ìf its still there, it is moored and was converted into to a casino. There were also paddle boats along the riverbanks of St. Louis, which gave way to the history of the growing city. Pretty proud of St. Louis. Lots to see and do!

Seeing the City Museum through the eyes of someone not from St. Louis is so cool. Growing up here you kinda forget how crazy of a place it is. Absolutely love going though. Also, they used to let you skateboard in the skate park, but I guess it was too much of a liability.

Lived here all my life and been to the arch and city museum multiple times. But I loved watching your vlogs. I developed a fear of heights so I haven't done either of them in about 10 years. Views are amazing but those elevator noises and shaking absolutely terrified me. I remember the view during a cards game about 13 years ago was absolutely amazing.

Im depressed that I never got to fully experience all of Saint Louis while I lived there. Moved there in Nov 2019, then Covid hit, so we couldnt be out and about. When things started opening back up, I had breast cancer and lost almost a whole year with surgery and radiation and after effects. I loved Forest Park , the Botanical Garden, the butterfly house and Faust Park, Grant's Farm, the Fabulous Fox Theatre! Those were ones I made it to during those years. I met my love there, and now we have retired to Virginia. I'll always miss Saint Louis though. Thanks for sharing!

So fun to see you in our Lou. City Museum is definitely a favorite. We have annual passes. Everybody who goes there loves it. They have adult only nights too. I’m kind of bummed about the way they are doing the arch now though. I haven’t been in a while but it used to be you could stay up there as long as you wanted and you could go from one leg to the other. They didn’t section it off. I wish you had more time to really see St. Louis but I understand you have to get to Cali. Maybe one day you will make it back and do some of the neighborhoods and other things to do. Have fun at D23 and Happy Birthday early. 🎂🎉🎊
