I used to hear that song (Is My Living In Vain) on sundays when I was over the road truck driving especially when I got down south back in the mid 1990s. At that time I din't know it was the Clark Sisters but I shoulda known with those voices and they did sound familiar though from hearing them in the early 80s. Love'em.

Also there's a video where Angel, Kiki, and Shante(sp)did a tribute to Karen, and Angel did all of the main vocals instead of Kiki but my point is now that Angel wants to be in the limelight more they are supporting her, as well as Nikki, the clark sisters have said from now on there only backround singers are going to be Angel, Nikki, and Kiki, now it's up to them if they want to be front and center like Kiki, i personally wouldn't mind seeing Angel or Nikki more because they are gifted as well

ok that was kind of harsh, the way you said that because it's not like that at all, she dont push her kids in front it's just that Kiki and Drew have outgoing personalities and they aren't shy. Angel and Nikki could have been well known singers like Kiki if they wanted to but they choose not to, but that was really harsh how you said that. no offense or anything but i stick up for my Clarks especially Karen Valencia Clark Sheard!

I just read through the comments about Angel, KiKi, and Nikki and y'all are just assuming. If anyone has checked out Angel's formspring account you would learn A LOT. First , Angel said she'd MUCH RATHER be in the background, and the reason she may be off pitch sometimes is because she's deaf in one ear (so is Dorinda). The reason Nikki doesn't sing that often is b/c she's VERY shy about her voice, and there's a VERY slim chance of them ever performing "It's Okay" (I kinda wish they would).

yeah i understand what your saying but at the same time that was kind of rude the way you just out right said "Karen has always pushed her children up front as if they the only ones in the family can sing." It's not like that they are very supportive of Angel now. there is even a video on here that someone recorded of Kiki starting a song and letting Angel sing the rest, and Kiki could have taken over again but she didn't.

Well first off they can't have Kiki standing as a background singer anymore...she's a artist in her own right... That's like mkn Yolanda or Kim b stand in the back as a bgv...that girl has signed contracts like her mom and aunts... So NO... U come up here... But Kierra still stands in the background to sing for her aunts. Karen pulling her up has no reasoning being that Kierra is an artist. They just did a concert and Kierra was in the background singing. Kierra respects her aunts as artists and the position they are in and if she was asked to be a background singer, she does just that, and stands in the back, Kierra is not picky.
