As much as I love this GenG roster, because of how much they achieved, they had an amazing year and they played incredible. But I think they need to split up. Canyon seems to enjoy a more skirmish heavy playstyle and current GenG is all about controlling macro and winning with gold in the late game. Chovy perma farms and it works for him, but I feel like canyon just gets bored with this kind of playstyle. He's of course really good at it tho, don't get me wrong, he's not the problem, but I want to see him fight early on, invade and play for dives. Peyz however, I think he needs to leave ASAP, his growth is getting affected by GenG, since he joined the roster he hasn't really been pushed to get better, you can say this kind of games help, but this happens once in a long time, GenG is always winning and Peyz doesn't need to carry a game by himself, like all other ADC's have been doing and have learned to do. I don't think he should be playing 1v9 but I think he should learn to do it, and GenG is not a place to do it. Lehends trolled but his playstyle and calls are the essence of GenG, I don't think a bad series merits a player just leaving the roster, his playstyle is GenG's playstyle. And when Lehends is having a bad game is GenG having a bad game.

I think people forget when ZOFGK was a freshly formed roster and they struggled domestically, not even making top 5 in their early split(s), and the international doubt that T1 could ever be a powerhouse again. Top that off with additional domestic struggles this split and this victory over GenG; their continued success at worlds, tastes so incredibly sweet. I’m so proud of how far this roster has come and I love these players

While I'm happy to see T1 performing so well and finally crushing their demons in Gen G, I do feel bad for Chovy. It really looked like Chovy would finally lift a summoner's cup but it looks like the T1 worlds buff was too strong even for him. The difference in macro this series(as well as an astro gap in the support role) really defined how this would play out. It's also satisfying to see Guma's world class form come alive once again. Peyz's lack of experience on the international stage is really biting him in the ass and Lehends might have had his worst series this whole year. MSI is a great win for Gen G, but even if you call MSI a "harder" tournament to win, Worlds will always be the most important tournament of the year. As for the finals, I don't really mind who wins this time around. I think T1 proved their class time and time again and them winning worlds last year already was enough for me for various reasons and seeing them win again would solidify their legacy as the best League team of all time. The cherry on top for T1 being that they home grew their roster for the most part. For BLG, I like Bin and Knight as players and seeing them win worlds would be sweet as well. China having a full Chinese roster win a world championship for the first time would be cool to see also.

We are so blinded by who gets to achieve the Golden Road first that we forgot no same roster has yet to win Worlds twice and T1 has a chance of a lifetime. And if T1 bested the LPL last year in Knockouts, T1 also has a chance that they will eliminate 3 Super Teams on paper this year. TES with a few former World Champions, GEN Super team and BLG Super team. This is a stat no one will ever beat for a long time if T1 manages to pull this off.

PeyPalz not flashing the Skarner ult or cleansing the Pyke stun follow-up, NoHands with an insane 20 death worlds performance, Choky csing mid team fight. Jokes aside Chovy played really well, but Faker outplayed him this series. Even if Chovy played better today, I don't think he could've carried harder than Lehends was inting.

Watched it again and it was REALLY HARD to see that skarner was channeling his ultimate. Chovy even reacted really late in his junp. Luckily was playing a yordle champ or else that could've been a nutty 3 man skarner ult.

Chovy didn't played well. While his stats/gold look good, that is he is focusing on farming while faker is making plays to his teammate. That is why Smolder is so good for Chovy habit. But that is not good for every champ. By your logic on Peyz. Everyone with flash should never get hit by Skarner ult, specially that was unexpected since they are backing. To be honest, most of their losing play is because Chovy is focused on getting strong and scared to make plays while faker doesn't care about his stats. For me it's a huge mid dif.

Probably can't do this for every series since Rat ends stream straight away but since I only watch pro play through Caedrel highlights that was a pleasant change!
