This song is so special for Manipuris, atleast for the ones who know this song. It came out during the time where our state was rampant with bandhs, riots, bomb blasts and what not. As soon as the music starts, i am immediately taken back to those days. It was hard days, but i was still happy. There are so many memories associated with this song. Imphal has changed so much, perhaps for the better, but when i listen to this music, i can’t help myself but revisit the Imphal i grew up in again and again.

I'm from guwahati assam ..the classic was really famous in Manipur Nagaland back in those days one of my sister's friend gave us DVDs of old Korean Japanese movies that she bought from Manipur I was really small back then I used to just watch these with my sister without even understanding the subtitles but watching the classic again just brought back so many memories I still get goosebumps whenever I listen to this song 2024🎉
