I have this headset, and it’s really nice. It also has great noise-cancelling technology. It’s so light and comfortable that I forget I’m wearing it. However, its battery life isn’t even close to being 55 hours; I wear it twelve hours a day and have to recharge it at least once during the day; I just plug in the charging cable while I’m working; it takes about an hour to fully charge. It also notifies you when it’s down to 20% charge, both through the headset and on the computer screen. I’m not a gamer; I’m a writer, and I use it to listen to what I write, which is the best way to hear your mistakes and edit them. I highly recommend this headset...

Bought them and I absolutely love them. I use a laptop for gaming, so the ANC blocks the noise decently. Its been a joy to be able to constantly switch audio between bluetooth (for my phone), and 2.4 ghz for my laptop without taking them off. Also, I cant stress enough the joy of using them in an airplane or in a room with a Fan, the noise just dissapears. Theyre rll good at combating fan noise. But the cherry in the cake is that I'm able to stream audio to multiple devices, whereas I'm on my laptop or tablet, so, watching the movies with my wife is rll nice. The con (for me): They look akward from a front angle. PS: This is my first and only Alienware product.

I got these headsets back when Darkside of the Moon came out.. I been having these Issues of constantly disconnecting and Reconnecting while using USB Dongle. When I play CoD I always get these random Issues of Game volume going away for a few seconds, then it comes back.. but I can still hear voice chat while game volume is gone.. Sometimes when it happens, I can’t talk or hear my Team mates anymore.. I would have to restart the PC. It’s insane how this is happening even though my PC is the R13… I had the older model Wireless headsets I use those more than these because of this constant disconnect… they got to get that fixed!

Although I have an Alienware gaming laptop, I'm not usually a big fan of their accessories. But fair play to them, I think overall they knocked it out of the park with this headset. The average mic quality should be expected really for the kind of price they retail at. Appreciate the review!

They should really specify that you need to touch the illuminated alien logo on the right side. I kept accidentally activating it and when I tried to use it I did not know and so it would never work. Love the headphones perfectly match my Alienware setup

The microphone could easily be edited to make it sound better. I would adjust the gain in obs until it gets to yellow when you make a loud noise.

I bought one, and man, i have 510H alienware and now AW920H and the differences are noticeble, like the 510H its much more confortable, and big, for me at least it's better. The AW920H has a really good quality song, the wireless headset, definitly the best I ever used, way better than hyperx cloud flight s thats has a good features, but the audio quality is terrible, at least for me that I used to play with alienware headsets has way better audio quality, it's so clear. And I tried Logitech G935 it's wayu better than hyper X, but still not good enough audio quality, and another one i tried, is Corsair HS100 that is one that I like most, but still audio is not so good like alienware headsets. For me this AW920H is the best one Wireless headset at all. Comparing to the one i've tried before. I recommend, but I created a perfil on the soft and customize the audio to have a better audio experience. And by the way, the earpods can be removed. HAHAHAHA

My current headphones are the Bose Qc15. I got them used, I have got a Bluetooth dongle and an APTxLL transmitter USB dongle. Just about everything I want is accounted for. I have wireless, ANC, redundancy with rechargeable batteries, and I have multiple cables. It was worth it to have this experience. Also 10 yr old headphones that still have factory battery life lmao bose ain't like that anymore. Accessories are still available for them as long well and probably will be for a good long time.

I bought two of these (one of each Color) : one is for my X17 and one is exclusively for my phone. I really love these but two things that Dell/Alienware needs to address : the battery is nowhere near 55h of usage on Bluetooth, not even close to 25h. My biggest issue is the touch control : they are frustratingly awful on both. I try to take off the headset and it decides to either pause/play the music or turn on/off RGB logo and, I’m not even touching the ear pads ! I wish there’s a way to disable touch control because it is beyond frustrating

@@RyanYu I have no connectivity issue but they are useless on PS5 because by default, wireless mode, the headset is at minimum volume and these headsets have no physical button for volume control and touch control is unusable

I have these and I hate them. They have these painful nubs in the headphones that scrape against my ears, the audio constantly pops and cracks, they randomly turn off sometimes, they give me a low battery warning (saying it's at 0%) when they're actually over 70% (as it says in Alienware Command Center a few minutes later when I check), and the touch controls are borderline non-functional with how inconsistent they are. Even the audio quality, ignoring the popping noise, seems like a downgrade from the AW988 headset I've now gone back to using despite its battery struggling to hold a charge anymore due to how long I've had them. For the record, my AW920H are brand-new and I've only been using them for a week.

Alienware has decent quality gear. But as usual, the price never matches what's provided. They have a real overpricing issue. If not for that, they would be one of the industry leaders. Mine died. Apparently the USB-C connector on the right side is connected less than adequately resulting in crackling in the right ear. It only happens after a while, plugging them in to charge over and over, so you'll be out of warranty. So unless you are ready to pitch them in a year, don't bother.
