I'm a fan of this band, but mt buddy Robert has never really dug in. I play The Claypool Lennon Delirium's cover of King Crimson's "The Court of the Crimson King". This is a live version of the song from, 2016 at the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival.

They also cover King Crimson's Thela Hun Ginjeet, which Claypool's other band Flying Frog Brigade have recorded and preformed a cover of it

Cynically speaking, the guy with the green guitar is one of the few perks of meeting John Lennon with Yoko Ono. He definitely inherited his talent from his father. His collaboration with Les Claypool is a hit. Often when I listen to them, 'Tomorrow Never Knows' rings in my ears. It's amazing how Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison are physical and vocal copies of their fathers. My favorite track is 'Amethyst Realm' from 'South of Reality'. Psychedelic perfection.

I absolutely love those tracks! Also boomerang baby. I’m definitely gonna play more of this band for my friends on this channel.

I was at the first live performance of this in 1969 by King Crimson in a live gig at Hyde Park, London, supporting the Rolling Stones. They blew the audience away and it was a huge audience. It is said that this band created Progressive Rock that day. They certainly showed us all just how musical instruments should be played. This was a very very good cover. I hear John's voice in Sean as well. Thank you.

@@secondhandreactions Yes, that was a blessing of being a teenager in London during the latter years of the 60s. That same year I saw Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac just before Peter had his breakdown. That band was incredible, the sound was perfect despite being in a field near Hampstead Heath. Unfortunately a huge gang of skinheads turned up and invaded the stage after 4 or 5 songs. I despised skinheads for years after that blaming them for the death of that first incarnation of FM. I saw Yes at the same gig. They got booed off the stage which I thought was bad manners seeing as it was a free festival. We were not ready for Yes in 69. I still can't make up my mind if I like them. London audiences were spoilt back then. We had no idea how lucky we were. These days I get to groove with you guys listening to Ren! Don't tell anyone but I think I might have a crush on Ren... and I'm straight! LOL

@@neighborsue Yes, as soon as one of you guys pointed out it was Sean Lennon singing I heard John distinctly and he is a better guitarist than his dad was! He chose some hard music to play.

@@patrickquinlan3056 🤣🤣🤣 You had an amazing experience growing up. That’s so cool. I like some yes songs, but I had a hard time getting on board with them. One of my old buddy’s was a huge yes fan and tried hard to get me onto them. I even went and saw them live. They never stuck for me
