The CLEANEST Fish Store I’ve Ever Seen [Tour]

I’m lucky to live in a state with tons of local fish stores, so I wanted to show you one of the cleanest, most professional fish stores I’ve ever visited - The Fish Crew. They’re located in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is the northernmost major city in the state, so I don’t get to visit them very often, but it’s totally worth the trip. Since The Fish Crew was started by a group of friends who used to manage another pet store, they have the experience to combine the modern look of a mainstream pet store with the quirkiness and charm of a mom-and-pop store. Your tour guide seemed to warm up alot. She's super kind and sweet just like you! I hope she's getting paid well cause she knows alot! (Something petco/ petsmart workers arnt always knowledgeable on) im so down seeing more women/ fem leaning people make a mark in the fish trade. It's sooooo nice and relatable

This store is exactly what 15-year-old me dreams of opening when I get older. My complements to the crew that work in the shop, I've never seen a neater aquarium shop in my entire life. That is saying a lot, especially when I know how hard it can be to care for many tanks and animals with different requirements. This shop demonstrates how aquatic life should be cared for. Really any pet store imo, many things can be pretty similar in comparison like reptiles, but even things like mammals if more people were hired for their knowledge and not just their ability to sell and do as their told, but also from the looks of the animals they look well bred to me, and sadly a big issue with chains that even if they are a lucky store with good staff keeping them healthy and well.. alive the best they can, it's sad to say that the source likely won't change soon, meaning they are still poor quality mill animals, which I find sad, and just shows a care for money more than animals by any store that buys from mills

This is my go to store. Love going there and the fact that they have a livestock list always available. There is one store I know of farther, about a mile more, called Alpine Koi and Reef. They have incredible selection there.

That 2700 gallon tank is something straight out of an aquarium, I'd loiter so much if that store was near me, lol. I just got a 20 gallon tank today after previously owning a 2.5 gallon and a 5 gallon. So excited to set it up and stock it with a variety of fish. I've definitely caught the bug, this hobby is so addictive and rewarding!
