I mentioned this earlier in the stream, but even though Donovan Mitchell had an off night, the shots he made were CLUTCH.

he was still attacking but just had to pass... underrated game for Mitchell IMO

Have to give God tier props to DG on the last bucket. Gets hard pressed and gets the finger roll bucket down the lane for the dagger. If he turns it over and gives up a bucket it's 124 127 and a whole another game. DG's body language and movements radiated confidence. Shout out to Fox for the Allen X factor. 25pts and double digits rebounds, both lead the team.

Jarrett Allen is no "distant #4 guy," hes in many ways the team MVP. Dude is a walking double double...and his presence in the middle is something so many teams lack. Besides that, is there a nicer guy on this very likeable squad?

What impresses me is how smart he is man

Would not rank him above dmitch, garland and mobley but yeah he is underrated because if you trade him cant get the same value

This game brought back memories of the 71-72 match-up between my then Milwaukee Bucks(Oscar, Kareem, Dandridge, Perry) and Lakers (West Chamberlain, Goodrich, McMillan . Their records were almost identical to us and OKC. In that game, the Bucks dont win without unsung John Blocks contribution and we dont win lastnight without unsung Max Struss! And to boot, they were both games for the ages.

Last night proved that the Cavs aren’t a fluke. In previous years they couldn’t beat anyone when DM played that bad. Thunder are legit too though, they played unbelievable.

Probably one of the best games I’ve seen since the 2022 World Cup final obviously it’s just a regular season game but the hype the record and everything that lead up to it made it special. Just gotta keep it going

With the statement win last night, I am fully convinced that the Cavs number 1 priority before the trade deadline is a back-up big. If we are to reach the Finals, we need an agile center to pair with Mobley when Allen is resting.

Thunder defensive plan was to shut down Mitchell.. it worked. They just didn't have an answer for anybody else...
@mrand1themamba8 сағат бұрын
Indeed, it was kinda pick your poison with the bigs Mobley and Allen as well as Garland chipping in. Also, Strus hitting shots and Ty Jerome contributing as well.
@rccollins14567 сағат бұрын
yep, they had no answer for Allen and Mobley down low, let's see what happens next week.
@FugaroundFindOut6 сағат бұрын
@rccollins1456 I think the thunder are going to try and shut down or disrupt our bigs but that will only space the floor for Mitchell and garland

I want that Finals! I think they are very evenly matched teams
@mrand1themamba8 сағат бұрын
Indeed, a Cavs-Thunder Finals would eat and I think that series can go to 7 games
@BruceWaynee18217 сағат бұрын
What makes me know that this team is for real is how we imposed our will on the thunder last night with Mitchell struggling and how we imposed our will on the last 10 teams regardless

Just imagine if we also had Merrill playing and hitting 3s

think about how we were missing Jarred Allen the whole playoff series last year and missing Strus the 1st two times we played them this year

Not on topic but can someone tell me why a team like the 76ers 5 games under .500 will be on 8 national TV games from now til the Allstar break and the Thunder and Cavs have 2 each? Ridiculous

Its funny I've followed the Cavs since the 90s but I'm a football guy. Playoffs and finals are all the NBA I watch. Occasionally I'll catch regular season games when they have a good record. Last year was the first year since Lebron/Ky/love left. Something different. Maybe it's the Browns sucking again this year but this is hitting me as special. Are we watching history? I believe we are. Bet cavs. I've made a little......
